They had already invested in the team when they initially came in though and that didn't convince the fair weather supporters to attend did it.
Look at Derby who are always midtable championship average 29, 29, 26, 23 over the last 5 years
Rev, I can see your point. Maybe this season with SISU still in charge it will be different, but I seriously doubt it. We got 10K going to Old Trafford in the League Cup while in the Championship and if we said then that we'd get over 30K for the "tinpot" JPT while mid-table in L1, then people would have laughed, but we did.
No one knows for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me.
The point which I am sure you well understand is James' view on not one penny more is not as relevant as people who attend regularly.
It is almost inevitable that there will be greater support from non attendees as they can join forces in a uniform approach to a cause that has no impact in their lifestyle.
Like it or not your revenue contribution to the club is negligible and that's a fact. The other fact that clearly comes out on this post is most who attend home games will still do so if the club stays at the Ricoh.
Also despite the mad vicars ludricous protestations it is very obvious that if at the Ricoh attendances will then be influenced by events on the pitch and not away from it.
Love the silly man put down you and the mad vicar are using by the way. Riminds me if that jumped up bank manager captain manwairing. Nice image.

Tickets were a fiver...bet there haven't been many semi-finals cheaper than that!
I'm PWKH don't ya know, or I work in the ACL politburo in the Ministry for talking drivel.I was Captain Mainwaring using a time warp, and the Mad Vicar is me from another dimension. This unholy Trinity
As to crowds at the Ricoh, all I can say is wait and see. Truth is, not one of us knows what is going to happen. We are all guessing. My opinion is that SISU have alienated so many fans that many will not come back as long as they are involved. Your opinion is the opposite. None of us know, and we shall have to wait and see.
Ah so it isn't about how much money you've handed over to the clowns in charge of our club, but how many home matches you've attended. Thanks for clearing that up for me.The point which I am sure you well understand is James' view on not one penny more is not as relevant as people who attend regularly.

You spelt "reminds" wrong and Captain Mainwaring needs capitals. Shoddy work even by your grammatically catastrophic standards.

It certainly will affect me as I've actually got to think of things to buy people for their birthday rather than just being lazy and just buying something from the club shop.
Oh by the way does anyone know did they ever produce a chocolate brown miki kit for the car window like this one which I found on Ebay?

Never seen one and despite searching Ebay there don't appear to be any on sale there. I'd like it to go with the one I've got.
I agree, but I still think there would have been a full house anyway, even if the prices had been £10 or £15.
They were a fiver, yet some use the huge crowd we had there to suggest that there is some sort of huge latent support that the club and Sisu have failed to tap into.
If I was ACL, I wouldn't charge any rent at all, and offer around 25% of revenues to the club if they offered every game for £5.
Would be a winner all round(But ACL's offer actually put up the price by something like £4 per fan to the club for everyone over 15,000!)
Myself, I use the Leeds game in the league a few years ago for that.
I was on my phone. Still nice to know it is only the grammar that you can pick holes in.
How many were at the next game??
We lost to Leeds...season downhill from that point on.
Fecking hell, whats a blowjob??
The evidence is based on statistical analysis over 40 years comparing average crowds to what happens on cup runs. This has occurred every instance we have had success. What you are really saying if you actually stop and think for a second is that fans would not want to go to Wembley if they made it. What about a play off final? Same would be? No because a direct correlation exists between success and huge increases in attendances over half a century whoever the owner.
Stop making a fool of yourself and give up.
Just remind me - how many home games did you attend last season?

In this 40 year period you mention did it include figures for when the club was in administration, or just after administration, as that is what we are talking about this season.
Its absolutely pointless and completely irrelevant you quoting a period when we were not in Admin.
So once again and hopefully it will go into that rather backward brain of yours, where is your evidence you clearly say is there ,where we would definitely get a sellout if we get to a semi final of the JPT cup whilst or just after admin and the ongoing fan protest
Please don't make me ask again as I won't give up
I have provided evidence and we won't be in administration next March will we which was my scenario. Strangely no one seems to be backing you up either do they?
Ask some others on here then - do a poll if you like -- you won't as the response will not be in your favour. The match would be a passport to Wembley or are you saying that no one would want to go there under SISU? How about Play off Finals? No not bothered I suppose as the NOPM crusade takes its icy grip.
Keep throwing juvenile insults at me as well. It's a bit like Benny from Crossroads trying to challenge the intellect of Einstein. It is most amusing though.
So that was your evidence, a few people on a thread, and you never said what your scenario was did you. You said you had evidence we would get afull house if we got to the JPT final, stop moving the goalposts and prove what you said .
I'll keep asking until you prove what you spout. the Benny from crossroads analogy , my god your the best , and in the same sentence you describe me like from Benny from Crossroads and say to me to stop being so juvenile.
Dig and keep digging that hole, you need to go off line and get this evidence you have
I don't need to do anything. Carry on its amusing.

I'm sure people would turn up if we got to Wembley.
Which ever cup or even playoffs. There would be a massive scramble for tickets.
It might not be as much for a semi final, but the crowd would be big.
Why is this even being debated?
Hill83, we don't know that's my argument, grenduffy though says he has the evidence that it would be full, so if you need to see this evidence best go to him
We've seen it happen a few times over the last few seasons.
Chelsea, Blackburn, Man Utd away, Crewe etc. Bellends who never go, begging for tickets.
That's evidence enough for me to suggest if a similar scenario happened this year, the same would happen.
