The SISU Out campaign group have changed their name following a meeting.

The group have issued the following statement:

Following a meeting of our group last night we have reviewed our recent protest staged during the recent Swindon match and talked about how best to now move forward.

We want it to be known that although we remain firmly and categorically against Sisu's continued ownership of our club we are not just a
"Sisu Out" group.

Our key concern is the future of the Sky Blues and the preservation of our once proud club.

We are here for the long term regardless of Sisu's ownership or whoever may be involved in the future.

so are we supposed to guess? or is it a tribute to the artist formerly know as Prince?

Why would SISU take them seriously or engage with the group on the basis of the group error prone press releases?

SUSI out would be good too. Or SUSI Get Them Out.

Seriously though, I think it's a good idea. If you want dialogue with the club and want to get more people on board then you need a broader range of ideas than just the blanket SISU OUT. Good luck to them.

Can't take them seriously as there is no evidence of an actual change of anything but name (once they brainstorm to find a new one that is)

True. I'll take them as seriously as all the others. But, as I said, good luck to them.

It's a forward step. If they are going to try and engage with the club without the petty one-upmanship demonstrated by other fans groups they may well find it far more productive.

Oh, is it not the "way forward" you keep banging on about then?

I would say it is a start isn't it? People (including me) are quick to tell them when they do something wrong so only fair if they do something right. They may well be banging on 24/7 about getting SISU out just under a different name but hopefully they won't be.

Well for me if you want my support then lets know who you are, how many you are and come up with both a plan and a policy to implement it.

And then the anonymous keyboard supporters can pick fault ,ridicule and dismiss (like they do to the trust) because they are too fecking lazy to to anything about it themselves

It's the anonymous owners / investors that should worry our fan base not some anonymous fans who are speaking their mind and putting those words into actions. They're also not really that anonymous. Handing out red A4 sheets in the Ricoh at the Swindon game was hardly camouflage.

Dont think I explained myself too well . I'm not having a go at people willing to make the effort to change things , I'm tired of the crescendo of apathy posters put up when somebody suggests any action.

No. I didn't explain myself too well. I understood what you were saying and agree with you.
