Venus feels for the coach the kit man tea lady etc, did not know his selection for the team was that bad. He needs to go and put his feet up by the tv with a cup of tea. Please someone tell him this morning that he does not need to come to the training ground anymore.

We need someone who's prepared to go back to basics for a few weeks. Play 4 at the back, give Sordell and McBean a few games as a proper front 2 and settle on a midfield 4 that can maximise service to them. Then keep that settled for the rest of the month until we need to replace loanees in Jan.

honestly thought his selection was just because he wasnt taking the competition seviously
now after his interview i realised , he actually thought that was his best team, like wtf???

I hate all this bullshit football talk. He could have done everyone a favour by admitting he's not up to it and that he won't be doing it any more instead of 'considering his position'

It's clear our little run was a new manager syndrome but times up now, his team selections that are not forced are now questionable in the last few games. Another who's rolling the dice to find the formula.
Just bite the bullet and get a manager who knows league one and two and has contacts because fuck he's gonna need them...Samaritans too!

Whilst I agree that Venus is not the right man for the job and needs to step aside I do think the players seem to be getting off very lightly here.

There's lots of abuse being aimed at MV which is fair enough, but the players that were on the pitch deserve even more stick.

I went yesterday, I don't even want to talk about it though, i'm truly ashamed at what I witnessed and the money I wasted.
It's the kind of performance that a club that really cared about it's fans would react to by offering free tickets to Wednesday's Checkatrade game, to all who suffered the trip to Cambridge. (Putting aside the torture of having to watch them twice in 4 days ;))

I've suffered enough, Crawley lost 5-0 at the weekend too I think, yet they'll still turn us over on Wednesday, especially if Venus remains.

Didn't Kevin Keegan resign as England manager almost straight after that horrible Germany game? He knew it wasn't working out so he did the right thing.

For once show the tiniest respect for the people you're all fucking over please, Venus and gang.

Exactly.

He said he wanted to sleep on it. If he had any guts about him he would have slept a maximum of 1 minute.

We should have had our answer at about 12 mins past 10 last night.
Unfortunately Venus has the longest rotation period of any planet in the Solar System and a Venus day lasts 116d 18h 0m. Half that for a Venus night = 58 days and 9 hours, which conveniently takes us just past the end of the January transfer window saving the money grabbing bastards another wad of cash. SISU OUT.

Yep. He resigned in his press conference I think. Had to respect him for his honesty.
