Yes and a clever player wouldn’t have got booked 2 minutes previous and would have taken a yellow there.
If he had someone around him to take the earlier yellow then he’d have been alright. It’s not a coincidence he’s the only one there when they’re breaking. His partner is nowhere to be seen.

He was finding himself on the Left of the back 3 not his job where was Hyam
What about the yellow he got a minute before that, or him losing the ball just in front of the defence and having to slice their player down to stop counter

Getting worse as the half has gone on, strikers not had a sniff really. Forest been bang average but that’s all they’ve needed to do.

Failure to get in a CB is telling

Bit all over the shop that half , hopefully half time sorts them out ..
Bring rose on for da Costa if he's able to play 45

A non existent midfield. Hamer and Sheaf have no impact on the game and Dacosta is not championship standard.
we are desperate for a Kelly, James or Walsh type player in midfield to put a foot on the ball and create something.
the bench doesnt exactly look like it can change anything and this is a poor forest side

Dabz had a chance to toepoke the ball away from Taylor but caught his studs in the ground. Small things make a big difference.

First impressions is we still have the same issues with the CBs and lack of pace. Hopefully JCS will sort that out.

I'm assuming Rose isn't fully fit?

You'd have to be on drugs to pick DaCosta and Dabo at CB otherwise.
Never really understood decisions like leaving Rose on the bench if he's not fit for 90. Play him for the first 60 then and if we *have* to play Dacosta bring him on for the last 30 minutes when the space has opened up and the game isn't as tight. Who knows, maybe your strongest 11 will be 3-0 up by then and the consequences will be less.
