He was at least there I see from his Instagram... Which is a positive! Wishing you a speedy recovery @better days.I guess Bright will be involved against Northampton
where would he play? Who’s he going to replace
He will only start if we play the box formation, so mostly I'd imagine away from home
Agreed, despite a good result we were very poor for the majority of the game. Papering over cracks that need to be filled still, but we have time to.not so sure on that - looked very weak defensively and better teams would make life far more difficult and we have very few replacements of quality
I'm telling you I travel everywhere with city and I haven't seen too many home fans as vocal as we were today in the country
Maybe that's because our away fans are also loud as fuck and drown them out
really liked the look of dacosta during preseason when i tuned in but he was disappointing today.Comments saying Walker should start. Could be a positive move (can't believe I said that ???!!) but having Wagz and Vik up front doesn't work. They are too similar in playstyle. Wagz has the bulk to be able to hold the ball up so could work as a good foil for Walker to run on to. The combo of Vik and Walker works in the same manner, as the end of last season showed.
But I disagree with all the comments about DaCosta. At least he smiles when he's on the pitch
I know it's just coincidence, but a bit of me is starting to think i have actually got magic pissOh no not again.
Keep it up!!
No way not very poor for the majority of the game at allAgreed, despite a good result we were very poor for the majority of the game. Papering over cracks that need to be filled still, but we have time to.
He was poor today, but tbf to him he had Dabo playing RCB behind him who was having a shocker, and Forest were playing like a 424 with their 2 wide men pinning both fullbacks back. He was better 1v1 defending than I thought he would be, but was really poor in possession today.really liked the look of dacosta during preseason when i tuned in but he was disappointing today.
We were dreadful first half, but wouldn’t say the majority of the game. We were on the front foot for the whole second halfAgreed, despite a good result we were very poor for the majority of the game. Papering over cracks that need to be filled still, but we have time to.
A good 70 minutes we were Pete imo. Didn’t create hardly anythingNo way not very poor for the majority of the game at all

Really? I didn’t see the first half as average at all? We could have been 2-0 down and I don’t remember any chances of not. Maybe the majority is unfair, but up until the subs we didn’t look like scoringWe really weren’t. Average first half (as were Forest) and decent second half with an excellent last 10-15 minutes. To say we were poor is just unfair. That was more than adequate for an opening game performance.
Ah, just saw the poster. I’ve been reeled in.

Just read through some of this thread. Some people on here had an absolute mare.
So many of you lot are the armchair sort sat behind who you can judge after one game and move seats because of them.

Tbf your boyfriend had a good game in goal. Wind it in.
Think i ahead someone from here behind me today, jumping on Sheaf every chance he got. As soon as the attendance was announced “won’t even be half that next game”. And I doubt he was making an observation about the League Cup crowds.
As will happen every…..single…..match thread.
Im really glad to be back in the stadium as I don’t check on here until HT and then FT. With ifollow I found I was reading as I watched which is about as good for the soul as Facebook
A lot of people ripping into Dacosta I believe he was really affected by the occasion , the crowd etc . The foul throw rushed summed it up , a lot of pressure today for him
