You surely wouldn’t put the pressure of a penalty on Ponticelli, he is a young kid ffs. What if the lad missed. All these people wanting Biamou to come in off the bench ...
Are you wanting him to come in to help defend a lead, or are you hoping he'll come in and score the winning goal?
If you are hoping for the latter, good luck!
If it's even and we need a winner but is likely to go to penalties, Ponticelli would be a better choice. Do you want Biamou taking a penalty?
3 separate dreams last night, we lost every time. Got told last night I've gotta go to a meal as part of the groomsmen group for a wedding on sat... 730 table booked. Livid

And a handful of games. When he didn’t get off the mark in his first few games he got slated. If he missed the morons would destroy him.I get the impression he’d be fine TBH. Seems mentally strong.
Two huge stats to overturn to get to Wembley and and another to win promotion itself
Not won at meadow lane since a 3-0 win in 1963, failing in the last 8 visits since that day.

All sides in the EFL starting the play offs away this season have progressed to the play off final
6th place finish in L2 is statistically the worst place to go on to gain promotion over the last 10 seasons. Only one side has achieved it.

McNulty is a big player for the game.
Looking at the 4 teams in the play offs he’s by far and away the best striker on show and we need to play to it.

We failed to win at Wembley in 104 years then won the FA Cup there
exactly, so the "facts to overturn" meant bugger all
I am at a loss as to why these "facts" have any bearing at all on a one-off football match.
Is McNulty going to be shitting himself thinking "Jesus we had a terrible game here in 1981 when Brian Kilcline was playing for them, we've got no chance tonight"
Is Michael Doyle going to be quivering in his boots because we finished 6th?
Its utterly irrelevant- if we lose it'll be because they were better/luckier/tougher than us, not because the ghosts of the 1964 Notts County side were somehow acting as a 12th man for them
He's a professional footballer, and a striker to boot. I'll bet he's desperate to be involved.

He’d get over it.
We are not the superior team, after 46 games they finished a place above us.Left work early, had an ale at my local and I’m now on the way.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt this way before a game as a spectator, it’s certainly the most significant game I’ve experienced and the nerves are kicking in.
However, I’ve said it a few times on this thread and I still maintain the same view; we’re the superior team and we’ll beat them, as long as play football and do not get dragged to their standard.
3-0 City.

That said I hope we can win and make us happy but without a win at Wembley it counts for nothing. Tonight is a stepping stone.
Horrendous traffic on M1 north of Leicester
Yep, if we are being literal they finished above us. However, we are still the better team, as long as we play football as I said. It’s been the same issue all season, too many times we’ve played nowhere near our potential.
Last Friday we were the better team but failed to capitalise. Tonight in better conditions we should fare better, even without Davies. As long as JCH doesn’t play obviously.
For a large part of the season we had a very defensive minded approach - we scored fewer goals than anyone.
Without McNulty and the introduction of Bayliss we would have struggled to be mid table. Player for player there is not much difference between the teams at all.
Good job I followed sat nav. Went through Leicester up a46 I think.Horrendous traffic on M1 north of Leicester

Yeah, and if we took away Accrington’s Kee, or Wycombe’s Akinfenwa neither would have made automatics...
We’ve been missing our best player for most of the season, Jodi Jones. All it takes is a glance at our record against the top 9 or so with and without him to demonstrate that. Whilst we didn’t see mich of Andreu, he’d have been a main player for us too.
The squad is a strong one, hence we’ve been able to cope with the losses we have and still finished 6th, only 9pts off automatics.
