He doesn't seem to want to learn ways, it seems his way or the highway. The problem with that is because is hasn't had a tried and tested method to say that what he does works. Any teams should have 11 captains on the pitch as no-one should like losing and rolling over the way we have at times this season. I do agree with you that he can't do everything but it's his blueprint and before Saturday's second half, how many on this forum would say it was working or was successful?

He always seems keen to learn to me, he regularly uses german football as a template for what he is trying to do, he has called alex Ferguson for advice I beliebe before, Pressley is open to new ideas but he isn't gonna change things for the sake of it. No team I have ever seen has 11 LEADERS on the pitch. I don't think our players have rolled over and I would bet any money they don't like losing. Tbh I wouldn't ask anyone on is forum knowing the fickle nature of fans ;) haha

Nouble was celebrating like we won the league for the first two goals, and then like he had won the world cup for his. This guy wants to win and shows so much passion for the team.

Saying that JOBs celebration was similar. I think the whole team and SP are together is one goal, we just have a very young team and young teams show bigger variations in form.

Nothing needs to be said about Reda, he is a leader of men.

I can understand about protecting players but you can go too far

Like people on here criticising Pressley for saying Finch had a good game on his debut. A debut brought about by injuries and forcing him to play him out of position. But some people still wanted to say no he was crap.

I am not saying it was you Nick. But players in their maiden season need some protecting

So you are happy with his signings, his tactics, his interviews, his stubborness, his reluctance to accept when he is wrong? you're just bothered by the scouting system and them being comfortable. I think the owners should take the lion share of blame for our woes along with smaller shares for the other parties involved but surely what happens on the pitch is within Pressley's remit. If you say professional sportsmen do need motivating then why can Pressley not seem to be able to do it then because Saturday's second half was the first time we have seen that type of display and what we do know is that it took the two mentioned in the OP to help get that and what we do know with Cov is that they won't be here forever.

Surely our poor signings show failings in the scouting system, Waggot and Pressley.

There are lots of things I am not happy with and changing managers every 5 minutes is one of them. Our previous 10 managers havent been great either but some desrved more time. I would have liked Robins longer but he left. Perhaps he didnt stick around long enough to be found out.

SP is far from the finnished article. But it is who we have. So I hope he develops.

swanson(not played loads though)

thats only this years signings off course.

Would concur with both lists you have there.

Yes there is a way to manage people and I wouldn't ever expect him to come out and say "Oh so and so was dog shit today" but if they were dog shit, I also wouldn't expect him to come out and say he was fantastic as people do have eyes. They can see he wasn't fantastic, it is almost patronising a little bit.
