2000 people? we only average what 10 or 11 thousand thats a very high percentage going in. 23 times a year at 4 hours a piece 92 hours for an establishment that opens well over 6500 hours a year. It will be a tidy sum certainly to you and me but in the scheme of things to a Casino and after deducting costs and pay outs not as big as you suggest

Agreed nothing like 2000. I've been in for a poker tournament with 500 and it's absolutely rammed. Most are also not dropping £50. Some of course will be and some excessively more, but most are for a couple of beers only.

This was based on so much extra to L1, Championship and Premiership. Unlikely to ever be realised and if it does then it's £100m minimum to finish bottom of the EPL. Only a fool would accept and they knew that. It's about as worthy as me writing to tell them I'll give them £20m if I win the Euromillions.

When you look at what Wolves and Villa were sold for in a higher league than us, own their ground, own their training ground, own their academy etc then even at the minimum amount it was a decent offer. My only gripe with it was that there was the potential for SISU to continue earning after they sold. I work in Birmingham and I always get asked how Coventry got on at the weekend. We’re a bigger deal than the council give us credit for.
I’ve only been asked how wasps are doing once... that was when I was in London - I told him in no uncertain terms that I don’t know or care, only that I hope they go bust.
