Our big problem now is that our two best players are in desperate need of a rest, and we’re not playing well with them in the team at the moment, but if we take them both out we’ll probably be even worse.

After Blackburn he needed it someone said he hasn’t scored in 6 wonder if that’s when Waghorn went out of the team ? He’s far better next to WaghornGyokeres if anyone I think

Had a cracking game today.No way should any player be given nor should they be demanding guarantees of first team football. If that’s the case we made the right decision.
Paterson’s injury record was too much to gamble on given the wage he was likely to command. As it’s been the guy has been fit all season. It’s paid off for him and Swansea

Bloke is our only attacking midfielder. The pressure is on him. He's been knackered for weeks.
No other side in this division has one attacking midfielder who they rely on. No wonder he's been poor for weeks.

I'd give Jones more time off the bench to give O'Hare a rest. Not exactly the same player but more of a goal threat and we need to give him time to see if he can get up to speed in this division or not.

He's had 3 assists this season and he's been involved in 2/3 other goals.
Maybe if we had another attacking midfielder we'd not notice his lack of goals as much.

I was saying the same on the way home. I can’t see him scoring more than two all season. Though if he could score as well then he wouldn’t be playing for us. It’s strange that he can do so much else so well but every shot seems to be scuffed. His confidence in front of goal must be rock bottom, but it says a lot that it hasn’t affected his overall game. Still one of probably two players that scare the opposition with Gyokeres.Wonder where his next goal is going to come from. He needs one off his arse or something.

Or you have a quicker striker with Gyökeres.
We have absolutely no pace going forward. A quick striker would have had a field day in behind that Swansea defence.
If Waghorn is fit I’d like to see a front 3 of Waghorn behind Walker and Gyo. We need to see something different now.
