Sometimes I feel as if I am the only person in the country who can’t name a single song by Oasis. However, the wife has cheered me up by telling me that she can’t either.

Mental that the almost 2 million (if it is indeed 10 nights each venue @90k people a night) people will see tickets sell out in minutes for a shit beatles tribute act

Bet you like Morrisey

not really as if the musical excellence that was the spice girls did a tour it would be the same

I do find it funny though that Liam thinks he’s edgy and ard when he’s as dull as fuck and his brother looks like Bobby Gould

Have seen Young Fathers live and they were very good. Also like Fontaines DC too and love LCD Soundsystem.

Maybe I could go and see all those support acts and then sell the Oasis part of the ticket to someone on here.
i saw the young fathers last night. they were on stage with massive attack. excellent gig.

Tbh I totally get the excitement about Oasis reforming for people of a certain age/generation...I recall a lot of my younger work mates back in the 90's absolutely loving Oasis,I thought they were ok and knocked out some decent tunes but being older I could always tell what old song Noel had pinched his chord sequence from (he kind of admits that in fairness although he says it was subconsciously 😁).
I did get offered a ticket to see Oasis play at Knebworth but never took the offer up....my friends brother (who was also a mate tbh) had a popular Coventry band "Gdansk'"who I saw regularly years ago and they covered loads of Oasis stuff.

I couldn't really give two shits about them - they were part of a movement of its time - but i appreciate there will be those that do.

The thing that annoys me (wrong thread, i know) is the BBC abandoning their non-advertising policy for people like this and Taylor Swift.
