Has anyone been successful yet in getting into the pre-sale? A fella in the office said his friend has had an email giving him a code to get into the pre-sale. I know we have until 5pm to find out. This and transfer deadline day...my refresh button is taking a hammering.

My mate (who will be getting me a ticket) has the presale code but if it's anything like Foo Fighters, it will still be a free for all.

I never liked Oasis. Derivative of a million other bands. However, it is annoying seeing people being slagged off on twitter for liking them and wanting tickets.

Live and let live, I say. I mean not everyone likes Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, do they?

I was mad for them at school, Otis. From about 1980-1982. They released some brilliant records, all sung in German. This track, Der Mussolini, is a classic alongside Kebab Traume, which is also excellent.

Dodgy lyrics though.

Dance the Mussolini
Dance the Adolf Hitler
Dance the Jesus Christ

God bless em!

Haha, absolutely!

Anyway, here's the wonderful Kebab Traume. I remember having a poster of them in my bedroom circa 81. They were dressed in leather and obviously gay. I had no idea back then though. I was only 15. My Mom never said anything.

Anyway, apologies for highjacking the Oasis thread.

@torchomatic I have friend who's a big Buzzcocks fan (lives in Long Itchington)...goes to see them in some fairy obscure places abroad.

I probably know him. I grew up in Southam and spent most of the 80s and 90s going out in Long Itch. Was there last Friday night.

Not my cup of tea, but fair play to everyone on here who got tickets.

Wonder why they aren't doing a show in the midlands?

Surely the CBS would sell out in no time.

Ticketmaster already struggling to cope it seems.

Could be wrong but seems everyone is struggling when they get to the same number range in the queue, as if there’s a black hole. We’re waiting but I think we’re shit out of luck.

Am I naive but I didn’t think you could join a queue just to be in a queue? (So to speak). Otherwise I would have logged on my laptop hours ago.
