Oasis. Just like Glastonbury. Attended by the elitist and pretentious
Yes 100%. They’ll also announce a tour in the USA at some point. They’ve only announced these so far to get as much money out of people as possible.Well I’m fucking gutted missed out. I saw someone say they might be announcing other dates…anyone reckon I’m still in with a shot?

Trying to take the moral high ground and make out they’re on the fans side but allowed Ticketmaster to enable dynamic pricing which is only enabled with the artists consent.
Nice, thanks. I think I’d prefer a cheeky trip to Europe given how the atmosphere will be but either side of the pond and I’m inYes 100%. They’ll also announce a tour in the USA at some point. They’ve only announced these so far to get as much money out of people as possible.
I'm told they've book Wembley for 10 nights so I think you might be.Well I’m fucking gutted missed out. I saw someone say they might be announcing other dates…anyone reckon I’m still in with a shot?
Just seen this, and it's made me feel a million times better about missing out
As I think it will a lot of people. It's pretty small print at the bottom, but it states they are being kept apart completely other than being on stage
That's surely alarm bells all over

It's disgusting what the Gallagher brothers have done.I had to go out on a stag do yesterday afternoon in Pompey. Whilst I was out, Mrs WM called me and said I'd got to the front of the queue (227k when I finally got in). There were only individual standing tickets and the cheapest was £490.
As massive a fan as I am, I'm not paying to stand next to thousands who would've paid a 1/3 of what I paid for a ticket.
Really disappointed in them for agreeing to that demand based pricing. The demand was obvious.
And TicketMaster's an effing joke.
You're notI'm still pretty certain I'm the only person in the UK who thinks Oasis are nothing more than an "okay" band...
I’d sooner see Steps live.I'm still pretty certain I'm the only person in the UK who thinks Oasis are nothing more than an "okay" band...

They instructed Ticketmaster to introduce dynamic pricing.
They were great for the first couple of albums. Then, they must definitely did just turn out to be just an okay band in the end.I'm still pretty certain I'm the only person in the UK who thinks Oasis are nothing more than an "okay" band...
Well, you know what some might say about that.I'm still pretty certain I'm the only person in the UK who thinks Oasis are nothing more than an "okay" band...
My niece (Coventry Kid) plays drums for a popular band in America and they sold their publishing and royalty rights to wave music last year in a multi million dollar deal...no idea how all that works tbh but she doesn't need to ever work again if she chooses not to.Yeah, let’s be honest the whole thing is a bit of a money grab. I was reading yesterday that Noel gets full ownership of the music rights next year so getting interest built, streams up etc is perfect timing for a sale to a royalty company

Skillet ... they aren't my cup of tea tbh...she also has her own record deal as a solo artist,i Will pop a video on in a minute.Wow, what band is it?

Wow ! Amazing ! There’s a company that’s buying up loads. Queen recently got paid £1Bn
When they have the rights, does that mean the band no longer makes any money from that old music? ie streams, use on adverts etc etc.
Was going to ask if it was Jen & Skillet. Going to see them at the NEC in a couple of months.Skillet ... they aren't my cup of tea tbh...she also has her own record deal as a solo artist,i Will pop a video on in a minute.
What will these companies do with them,is the full on movement of that guy in the recent past who had a big lawsuit with the stones and verve,it only became an issue with his ownership from what I recall?Couldn’t quite believe it myself but true

Would imagine Noel could get 100-200m maybe more after recent boost of interest
Depends on the circumstances won't it,if it's sold from a publisher the artist has a friendly relationship with, to another more hostile one?How does it work with tours if somebody else owns the rights? Say somebody buys the rights but then the artist wants to play those songs on tour. They have to pay the owner of the rights?
Yes Dave, Jen Ledger is my niece, absolutely lovely young woman .Was going to ask if it was Jen & Skillet. Going to see them at the NEC in a couple of months.
Where do I sign upthey are all unbelievably happy.
You can play anything you like. What you should actually do at any level is fill in a form with the set list and songwriters and that goes off to the performing rights society here which is linked to similar societies worldwide. Then the songwriters, or whoever owns the rights, gets paid their royalties. How does it work with tours if somebody else owns the rights?
