Happy with him at least he has a bit of league one experience.

Yep. Defence suddenly doesn't look thin on the ground and with Lorentzson now in and Martin due back, it's much rosier.

[h=3]Mowbray: 'He has some fantastic physical attributes' (taking about Jack Stephens)[/h]There's a few ways to take that.

That's 5 loanees now. Doesn't leave much room for any extra attacking loan options.

We can have more, obviously just can't have them all in the squad at the same time.

With the one confirmed central defender signing Stephens, and potentially another one Cargill. Are they both likely to play?

Once Martin is back. Back four is likely to be

Ricketts, Stephens, Martin, Stokes

its quite likely if one of the centre backs are injured Ricketts will play centre back, with Lorentszen filing in at RB, Is Cargill likely to get much of a look in? with ramage slipping further down the pecking order.

I'm much more comfortable with that back 4.

All doesn't look too bad now. We just need an attacking option and then we can look forward to a positive end to the season.

Could be Martin to drop out, he wasn't first choice out the start of the season. I could see a back 4 like this
Ricketts--Stephens--Cargil--Stokes

Ricketts & Stokes look as if they would benefit from a rest IMO

Wondering if Martin has had a bit of a setback.

To me though it looks certainly like Ramage won't play again. TM may well see him now as a n experiment that went horribly wrong.

Chance to leave Ricketts out for a couple of games probably at home where the Swede can push on more.

No way ...should stick with the players that have had an outstanding season and got us into this position. Cargill should be on the bench. Ramage not even in the squad.

I know Ramage looks a donkey and made a few mistakes and heads to himself etc but has he cost us a goal?

Sat ricketts lost his man and Rcc cost corner fir 2nd

Happy eith these 2 signings though. Let's hope mowbray truly believes they are better than what we already have

Assuming Cargill signs, TM will be under pressure to play both, for most games anyway, otherwise we may lose one of them like we did with Morris.

I think Ricketts will come good again, he will be able to concentrate on his game instead of looking out for others mistakes...hopefully

As expressed earlier, both Baily and Jack are England Under 21 internationals, there is one game between now and the end of the season on March 26th, away at Switzerland so we are most likely to lose them for the Peterborough away game on Friday 25th March and possibly also the Colchester home game on Tuesday March 29th.

Which is exactly my point initially, what chance they both play. I hope this isn't a case of having to play inexperienced defender Cargill ahead of Martin.

No no more chopping and changing.

Would be great if we could bring in a striker followed by maybe a winger. Permanent signing would obviously be preferable but striker on loan would do.

Thing is, Ricketts is the captain!. How can you leave out the captain?

Usually first name on the team sheet.

Others can do it and I thought he looked s little weary at the Burton game, didn't go on Sat so not sure how he done then.

Lorentszen, Phillips, Ricketts, Willis, Stephens, Cargill, Martin, Ramage, Stokes and Haynes.

Could have 10 fully fit defenders in a couple of weeks when Willis is fit.

Willis is likely to be out for the season, according to TM on saturday.
