Thing is we have no idea how much he went for...might have been an offer we couldn't refuse!

You've got to assume £7m. That's apparently what we asked Liverpool for, very publically. I assume Norwich went for it.

Such a weird move all round. We can't spend the cash. He could've held out for a better club. It wastes a loan space. Just weird all round.
What cash. It's always undisclosed with us! Another way of keeping the fans uninvolved

Elliot Ward went to Norwich and look what the fuck happened to him.. dont these players or agents ever learn from the mistakes of others

It's two only slight possibility scenarios though, that of them going down AND us going up!!

Well, that's fucked any chance of getting a striker on loan. I look forward to not a penny of the money being invested in the first team.

Bizarre. You could go to Spurs or Liverpool...premier league possibly Europe OR you go to Norwich ...premier league or more probably championship. I just don't get it for Madders or ccfc

6 isn't it? Cargill, Stevens, Bigi, Murphy, Arma, Madders.

Yes, and we still need a winger and still need someone to take the goal load off Armstrong. No permanent signings. Fucking joke.

Not that it can be helped, or should really be taken into consideration by the club, but it's a terrible time to do it after our worst run of the season.

Usually the club that pays decides if it's disclosed or not. What a disgrace. We should have a right to know how much we get for our prized asset.

Maybe, but I guess it's a deferred deal in may respects. We'll have him until the end of the season and we'll have some cash to spend then. Had he not gone today he probably would have gone in the summer which is pretty much what we're getting with this deal. Had he gone today and then not been loaned back, then that would have been a weird deal.

Not weird for him - he gets more money.

Can we have more than 5 loanees in the squad and only have 5 on the pitch, or does someone have to be left out of the matchday squad?

May as well send Bigi back now really, unless it turns out Murphy on a permanent was part of the deal.

No only 5 in the squad.

If it is £2million then whoever turned down Spurs or Liverpool needs sacking
