I give up to be honest.

You said he isn’t someone that can make an impact, he got us promoted at the very first attempt.

modern fans…

He got us promoted 15 months after being appointed. That isn't instant. Lots of clubs wouldn't have been patient.

As I said I am in no way being disrespectful to what he achieved

It's an awful decision that is gonna backfire. King has lost a good % of the fan base with this. Strictly if we're going on results, yes it probably is hard to argue given calander form. But why have results been poor? It is pretty clear since the summer has he been undermined, with huge changes going on around him that he's had little say in. He has been effectively demoted to a head coach whilst in position. Clearly he wanted addional more experienced signings to bulk the squad and was blocked from doing so. We've got this dogmatic approach to transfers that just isn't going to work in the Championship. All of this has conspired against Robins and has had a huge effect on him and the team. Good luck to the players Saturday, coz I'd imagine this has split them like it has the fans and the atmosphere will turn ugly very quickly if we concede early. Whoever comes in has big shoes to fill, and if they don't get off to good start people will turn on King. 28/1 for us to get relegated looks a good bet.

It's extraordinarily strange for fans to overlap form accross seasons , especially one where we were having to bring tavares off the bench at Southampton away because players were fucked

How could he have got us promoted before that?
A couple of weeks earlier if we'd made the autos, that's it.

Most clubs of our statue would've expected to be in the top 2 all season

People are constantly on about the calender year like it represents anything
Some do. I think you start the season with a clean slate but when that slate also gets covered in shit i would think last seasons form also comes into the decision makers consideration.

Robins has mentioned "Keyboard warriors" on more than one occasion
But apparently what the keyboard warriors write exists in a bubble and has no real-world effect. Players and managers are immune because they are automatons, and owners never think to ask what the fanbase are saying.

Due to my weird brain my ability to show emotion is fairly non existent… but I’m actually sad about this. Robins will always be a legend for what he has had to put up with.

The only sickening thing here is your deliberate misunderstanding of my point

Your point is nonsense I'm afraid.
Including the last months of the previous season when he'd only just got through the door and the close season in your timeline to try and exaggerate your fairly weak point.

Where have I done that?

Know your audience springs to mind. If you truly believe what you say then fine, it's your opinion. But you wouldn't walk into a wake throwing darts at a photo of the deceased would you. So maybe go for a beer instead of trying to get people riled up for God knows what reason

Should we have been promoted instead of Luton and then followed exactly the same way as them would the sacking of Robins have been more acceptable at this point ? After all, Luton should be one of the favourites for promotion but their start has been poor .

yep, he should have had us promoted in a month 😅

I find it very strange that you consider 6th-10th in League 2 to be "instant impact"

Thankfully Mark Robins had higher ambition than you

Fans would have been even worse imo , rob Edwards wasn't with Luton long

He’s gone, you and your lot got your way- at least don’t now try to lessen what he did for us, it’s fucking disgusting to be honest
