As hard as it is, it's not impossible. Does money always win? Most times, but not always.
My posts aren't a defence of the 'boardroom'.
They're a show in faith in the management team who normally have things covered. Will they get it right...maybe, maybe not.
I'm happy to sit on the side of 'maybe based on the fact of what they've done before (in easier circumstances) as they've demonstrated they know what they're doing, by and large.
More than Kenny Jackett anyway.
Boddy will probably thank him for doing his job for him
I'm sure a big parachute-enhanced transfer budget will help him prove he's a good manager.Exactly. Arrogance. Kompany has everything to prove at Burnley.
Robins would piss this league with a Fulham/ Bournemouth budget imoI'm sure a big parachute-enhanced transfer budget will help him prove he's a good manager.
Let's face it people are showering praise on that posy little twat of a Bournemouth manager for gaining promotion. Fact is anyone on this forum could have got them promoted.
The role he has grown into now is a bit different from the one he played initially tooAgreed - they do a great job. Tough ask though, O'Hare is a very unique player.
And he struggled to get that tin pot bunch of wankers upI'm sure a big parachute-enhanced transfer budget will help him prove he's a good manager.

Strange, do managers often comment on other teams players like that?
FA should be asking him questions.
On Callum O'Hare: "I'm all for transparency. I would rather not lie but these things are hard until they are done, they can still go wrong. We think he is a great player, and we think he would be great for us but is a deal done, no."

I hope Burnley implode
Ultimately we've been looking to sell a player and it just so happens a more ambitious club wants to buy one of them, don't really blame BurnleyI hope Burnley implode

That’s part and parcel of going to a club with more expectation/ambition however you want to frame it. You perform or you go back to wherever you came fromPersonally think he will go , shame because the fans here 99.5% of them absolutely love the lad ... Will he get that at Burnley? Not sure .. but if the money is right what can we do ?
Wait until Burnley come here, I’m going to boo every touchWhy?
They remind me of Bournemouth and how insufferable they were the last couple of seasonsWhy?
With huge parachute payments to spend.Ultimately we've been looking to sell a player and it just so happens a more ambitious club wants to buy one of them, don't really blame Burnley

It’s not the sale that irks me, it’s Kompany openly talking about our players. That is why I hope they implode. Another big time Charlie club like Bournemouth who think they have the divine right to do and say what they want even when players are contracted elsewhere. Plus it’s a shit holeUltimately we've been looking to sell a player and it just so happens a more ambitious club wants to buy one of them, don't really blame Burnley

I’m starting to hate BurnleyNo , not proper managers anyway. Good managers always answer that question with:” I don’t comment on other teams players “.
FA should be asking him questions.
Seems quite likely from Kompany's comments that a deal is close.
