Trouble is us fans won’t be told the true price he goes for,if he goes. Hope he doesn’t but fee will be undisclosed again 😡

Do undisclosed fees have to be declared on end of year financial reports?

Robins sounds pissed off about it. It also sounds like he's our player for the next few 'weeks' suggesting Burnley unlikely to meet our valuation and Kompany talking of our player as though there was almost a deal done. if they don't meet the valuation, thought to be around 10m then he stays.
Losing your best player for say 5m to a rival is just not on, so i imagine the fee we are looking for is 10m or there abouts. have Burnley got it? Apparently no.

You get a like for alluding to the size and shape of his bonce, it shouldn't have taken the forum this long. I have to share some of the blame.

Burnley will have it but think SISU will give in to a paltry offer like they have time and time again I expect. Let’s hope they don’t.

Why do people keep going on about undisclosed transfer fees?

It's not exclusive to SISU

It's not exclusive to CCFC

If you look on the BBC Transfers page, most deals are free or undisclosed.

It's usually only deals involving Premier league clubs where a fee is quoted, and then I would bet it's not so much disclosed as sniffed out by journalists who can't be arsed to do the same for EFL clubs because nobody else cares.

And even if we sold a player for 10 million it's unlikely we would receive 10M upfront so you wouldn't see 10M in the published accounts.

Equally fees we pay out won't all be paid up front.

He doesn't have to accept a contract. He's well within his right to turn down any offer. Contracts work both ways.

Lol do you really believe that?

That’s okay if Robins gets a sizeable chunk to spend on the team but he wonts nowhere near half so it doesn’t really matter if it’s 2 mill, 5 mill or 10 and eve
He could want to wait for other offers but Boddy wants one gone he will sell to the first vaguely acceptable bid
Boddy is a prick lucky to have a good job, pissing arsehole at Worcester City bit more coy here.

Another concern though is the sudden emergence of toxic Tim after months with his head down.

The benefit of the club - Jesus Christ

You know what he means there, G.

Of course we'll miss him as a player (but he won't be here in 5 years time - probably none of the current team will) so if we get a large fee and it helps safeguard our club in terms of stability, then for the greater good we may have to sell him. We all want to keep all of our best players, but if we can't afford to double/treble all of our best players wages, then the PL money will keep forcing our hands. Fwiw, I agree that our owners should do their bit and try and help MR take advantage of the best position we have been in since they took over. I don't want any of the big 3 to go, but if one has to go AND we do use a slice towards the squad, then I can live with it (through gritted teeth).

Boddy is just relaying the message of Joy behind a friendly face tbf. If he went against that he’d be out the door - the next couple months will be a real test of his credentials

Well according to my mate who had a chat with Overson today its £6 million.

Only delay is Burnley want to do it in installments and we want it in full whack.

Oh and not a penny of it is going to Robins for reinvestment

If thats the case, then thats the last 5 years of fan support gone in one move. I for one would stop sticking up for the owners if so

I was referring to the clown saying we should get rid of o hare and it’s good for the club

I didn’t say we should get rid, don’t twist words to suit the narrative old boy. I said it’s right that Boddy would push the transfer if the amount of money on offer is of an amount that aids the future of the club. I’m actually in agreement with you for the distain of the owners, but unlike you and a few others I just accept it is what it is, there’s far worse out there. And we cut our cloth accordingly. You just just bitch and whinge 24 hours a day and nothing they ever do is the right thing in your eyes. It’s pathetic. But still, I’m the clown eh.

Burnley want to do it in instalments because as I said yesterday they are skint and that’s despite raking in a few million selling their better players, they fail to get promotion this season they are bolloxed.

This has been the soundbites coming out for the last month or so. Despite people posting the 'Panic GIF' and not wanting to hear it, it is a bit concerning.

I think it is still absolutely right to wait and see, rather than said 'PANIC', but even so. If we lost COH for 6 mil (in installments) and none got reinvested, I would for one be furious. As a fan base and the effort we've made over the last several years we deserve better. I mean, personally I sit there on a Saturday afternoon in my Amsterdam apartment and invite any poor soul over, paying 10 euro for the experience each time.

Still, let's wait and see... One thing was Robins did hint at in the interview was knowing what was going on to be able to prepare. Reading between the lines I suppose that means some kind of replacement.

Ah, I should hang up,waffling, what am I doing...
