Nah we got Mcquiod from Bournemouth and Simeon Jackson who on paper was a decent signing, he wasn’t.true we sold Callum Wilson and replaced him with Roy O Donovan

Forever remembered by me for his miss at GillinghamI think we might have signed Tudgay too
Very rare you come across a player as good as O’Hare . What he brings to our side is priceless.1. Get a grip. If we get the figure we are asking for we could get 2 players in to replace him. 2. No such clause can be imposed in a permanent transfer. 3. If it was so easy to get rid of players don't you think walker would be gone already.
He was garbageI think we might have signed Tudgay too
I didn’t mind him compared to the others we had, one of Mowbray’s mates he signed Marc Antoine Fortune was godawfulHe was garbage
In your opinion maybe. How do you know they won't be as,good or better?Very rare you come across a player as good as O’Hare . What he brings to our side is priceless.
you can bring in 3-4 more players but the won’t be as good .
Leeds are still pissed off Cantona left for scumchester, the rest is history.
Anyone still think Ohare wouldn’t suit Burnley’s style
Let’s face it if they was any better or even thought they could be they would not let them go . It’s as simple as that!In your opinion maybe. How do you know they won't be as,good or better?
You wouldn’t trade in a Mercedes’ for 2 Lada’s would you ? False economyLet’s face it if they was any better or even thought they could be they would not let them go . It’s as simple as that!
Yeah, because buying football players is just like buying cars. You wouldn’t trade in a Mercedes’ for 2 Lada’s would you ? False economy
Strange . Not sure what to say to that reply ! Or are you saying you can put them both together to make a good one ?Yeah, because buying football players is just like buying cars.

I'm saying your analogy is shit.Strange . Not sure what to say to that reply ! Or are you saying you can put them both together to make a good one ?
The price suggested from the Burnley side is £6mIf we sold O’Hare for let’s say £10million and we’re able to use half the fee towards the team although I don’t want him to leave and especially to a direct competitor I can live with that but Robins would be lucky to get 10% of any fee and replacing a player like O’Hare and what he brings to the team, the club and us supporters with a million quid will be almost impossible unless we are very lucky.
I’m say you haven’t got a clue . 2 shit/average players are not worth a good proven 1 .I'm saying your analogy is shit.

annoyingly watching the game tonight Sky are doing their best to chuck further fuel on the fire by saying they might come back in for COH following the sale of Dwight McNeil…who for the record is utter dogshit.

Probably 4-5 clubs in League 1 who could afford a good chunk of Walker’s wages. One of them have already had him and he was no good.
To be fair to him, and I've heard from a few sources who watched him when he was at Pompey, Walker wasn't the right player for the way they were playing.
It would have been a great point if it weren't for the fact that we signed O'Donovan in The Championship when Wilson was a youth team player. He wasn't even a regular by the time O'Donovan left us.true we sold Callum Wilson and replaced him with Roy O Donovan
Sorry, should have read to the end of the thread!I think we might have signed Tudgay too
I thought both teams were a bit meh. Long way to go of course but I didn’t see a championship winning side in Burnley to be honest.Unfortunately Burnley looked a very good team and will probably get better. I would imagine a more tempting proposition than old-style Burnley, though I would think O'Hare would be an impact sub. On saying that Huddersfield were dreadful, particularly first half.
Wonder how many millionaires he made that day.I think the odds of him scoring 2 in the same game is a million to 1
I honestly don’t think the instalments would be that big a deal. They will just sell on the debt and any discount they needs to be applied they will just add on to the sale priceThe instalments have to have some cerainty of being paid though and the stories around Burnley dont give that confidence

"Just sell on the debt" - not as easy as it sounds and the lenders fee is about 10 to 11%
