No he’s not playing hardball he can’t sell him to pay the loan off.

He’s out his depth. He’s sanctioned pay rises in January and assumed he’d get the release clause in either contract and other clubs don’t rate them at that value. It’s getting close to a Jimmy holmes incident

We overvalued and can’t sell. We are losing £100k every week and he assumed we could make it up in a transfer

We can’t as the offers are nowhere near what he needs

Meanwhile we have a league 2 commercial set up. I tried and even spoke to Tynan Scope about sponsoring players last year and he never responded and it’s still 2019 offers on the website - promised we’d get a contact for this season. Nothing

our ticket strategy is hopeless our marketing is useless

He presents a cuddly caring face. He’s signed players like Kelly on extended deals, agreed contracts for players who will never play again as they are hopeless. We have a turnover which matches wages before other costs, a declining lease with no plans for a new stadium

Yeah I mean what’s not to like
I know a somebody who sponsors players and they have no issues with contracts or communication.

So now we're angry he isn't sold yet?

As much as I’d like him to stay I do wonder if this means we aren’t able to pay off debts or we just have to accept an offer for one of the others? Or he goes later in the window with less time to find a replacement.

Boddy was highly thought of at Newport.

He’s probably hidden them all in his dome so he can now sell another kit. Fair play up him. If he had shown that initiative here he might still be in a job with us!

What an absolute prick.

We did have him, ironically enough when he was here , everyone thought he was an idiot
Newport Fan said:
My recollection is that he was vilfied by this forum. Don't know if justly or otherwise.

It was justified.

Now personally I think he's been alright with us - much to my surprise as Worcester was indeed a disaster, and Newport was not great either (he joined them, incidentally, halfway through their promotion to football league season so had nothing to do with that, it was some bloke winning the lottery and putting his cash into them that did that!). Here has been alright results wise and also he comes across better than the rather... elite equivalents at Wasps etc.

Ultimately however any issues with the club are because of the owners. A CEO can't change them, the owners make all the decisions that count, and whoever's beneath them, that won't change.

In terms of strategic direction of the club, given the constraints we're under, Fisher keeps showing he's actually been right each time, doesn't he. One of the best chairmen we've ever had - two Wembley appearances, two promotions, a league title.

How is he rated by Worcester city fans oh and by the fans of Pershore town and Evesham Utd.

Hated by Worcester fans but their club had been a basket case for years. Havent a clue about the others and dont really care.

I havent really an opinion on Boddy except he is an improvement on Fisher (which wouldn't be hard to do).

We are being run by SISU so we have two hands tied behind our back. But I look at other football club owners and I dont fancy many of them either. So I don't know what the answer is do you?

Players get sold. But transfer fees are staggered so they are not the big windfall fans often think. At some point all 3 will leave. It just depends what we get for them - we might get nothing .
