O’Hare changes nothing in that game. Would sell him to the first 5mil bid imho.

Speak in 4/5 games. The stats speak for themselves.

Bollock, O'Hare wins us the ball back far higher up the pitch, before they can get 10 men behind the ball.

I'm sure this will initially attract a barrage of insults, but as much as I really want the lad to succeed, he's not offering anywhere near enough for a championship attacking midfielder that plays every game.

I've heard comments that he is the best player we've had since relegation from the Premier League. Personally I don't see it at all.

I think we could sell him and whilst I'm not exactly confident the owners would reinvest it, should he go for the touted 5 million, even 20% of that would find someone who could score or assist more than what he is offering at the moment. Playing for territory is something wasps should be proud of, not us, and it feels like that and work rate are about his only major attributes. It's becoming a cult in itself though, and match after match there are people that leap to his defence in what in my view seems irrationally obsessive.

His stats in the league (last 3 seasons):

105 appearances
7 goals
16 assists

I've been at times really excited by him, and when we signed him from Villa permanently I was estatic, but that euphoria has seriously plateaued over time.

I'm not looking for emotive rage, just someone please, kindly and respectfully change my mind.
well he is out for 9 months with an ACL so will not be sold or played

Might not come back the same either , it's all really now just hoping , but the club simply have to plan now for a potential future without him being the same

Investment needed

I'm what way? The time is now to sell Vik imo.

In the way we stand likely to lose two star players for the season. Lack of goals from someone who isn’t Gyokeres. A great source of attack now out long term. And no trust in owners, current or potential, to get us through it adequately.

Agreed. Investment needed.

So close, yet so far from the Play Offs. Unless they invest, we may as well sell Vik before we lose him to an injury.

Other than Gyokeres it’s the biggest loss as he’s vital to the team and it’s spirit

Today was the perfect example really

As we begin to drop down the table, it will be stark. Very difficult to replace and we don't have the £5m we'd have got for him had he been sold. Genuinely gutted.

I thought we were getting a new owner so didn't need to sell, though? What happened to the investment? Also we can't lose Gyokeres and O'Hare within weeks or we will face a relegation struggle.

£20m for Vik is more than King has to his name.
