I shall head for the casino anyway................down there it can be 28 degrees above or 10 degrees below and you wouldn't have a clue either way !!

IMO the club seem a bit obsessesd with getting the game on for the sake of preserving a record of no postponements. Personally I think there could be some advantages to the game being called off:
- it would give the players a much needed break, MR said last Sunday that the players were jaded, we've hardly changed the team in the last dozen games or so and had another midweek game where as Oldham didn't.
- how much damage could this do to the pitch, which is already looking in poor nick.
- how many people will be kept away by the poor weather? Not everyone lives in Coventry and I think some people will not risk travelling any kind of distance tomorrow (I can't see Oldham bringing more than 100-150). I can see the crowd being down to 7,000-8,000.

Don't be soft lad, its going to be a triumph of man over adversity.........Oldham wouldn't bring more than 500 normally anyway. My friends in Sweden are laughing their heads off at all the panic in the UK again.

Fair enough! I'll be there anyway, but IF it does go ahead its absolutley critical we win the game. We cannot afford to be 3 or 6 points behind MK, Bournemouth, Swindon having played 3 games more.

I'd be surprised if someone didn't ask robins how desperate they would be to play the game or if they would prefer a breather.
