Really don’t know why we need to keep both Collins and Wilson. If they’re both on peanuts then sound keep them both but I imagine they’re on an average amount for a keeper so we might as well save some wages, can put that towards a new CM or RB.

Wilson is in the last year of his contract and can talk to other clubs in January.
If I were him, I'd just run my contract down and leave on a free next June.

Early on, but from the few games he's played so far, Dovin looks good with the ball at his feet, but he doesn't seem to command his area and I think sometimes he tries to punch/push shots away he should be holding onto.
Agreed. It's assumed he's a big upgrade, and let's hope he is. But I don't know how people are drawing that conclusion based on such little evidence so far. Don't thiink we have seen him come for a cross yet?

If anything he’s been leaving a lot to his defenders so far.

As someone who loved the blood and thunder football of the past when players could maim each other without getting a yellow card, I'm confused by goalies who stay on their line rather than clattering players to get the ball - but I think it's just the modern way. You rarely see keepers claim a cross nowadays unless they're unchallenged.

He didn’t even try to claim the one that they really should have scored from point blank in the first half. Like a lot of modern trends in the game, I don’t see the logic in it.

He punched a corner away on Saturday?

He is very young for a keeper and doesn't look the biggest? Yes needs to learn to be more dominant in his six yard box. But hasn't had time to learn about defenders in front of him. I have seen him pointing things out to the defence which is a good sign.

Seems to be a good shot stopper.

His distribution is an upgrade on Wilson and Collins so far.
