There's rarely been a time that two senior keepers have gone out simultaneously. 3 senior keepers aren't necessary. What does that say about our youth pathways if we'd rather have a 3rd senior backup than chuck a young lad on in a dire emergency?
Also can't you bring in an emergency loan keeper if all senior keepers are injured?

Surely we would sell Collins if we could with three years left on his contract?

Would Wilson or Collins be happy as a 3rd choice? I wouldn’t mind letting either of them go. Surely one of the academy kids Bell or Tyler as an emergency 3rd choice keeper would be alright.

No one wants them, Wilson isn't going get the money we pay him else where and Collins is not in demand.

Oliver Dovin is surrounded by rumors of a move as he has done well in Hammarby for a long time - include his performance against Gais on Sunday.
Could it have been the goalkeeper's last game in Hammarby and is he on his way abroad?
- I do not know. I can't answer that, says Dovin to Expressen.

Oliver Dovin, 21, has for some time been rumored to be on his way away from Allsvenskan and Hammarby. During the week, Sportbladet presented information that the Bajen goalkeeper is close to Coventry City in the English Championship. They should also, according to the newspaper's information, have the Swedish U21 goalkeeper as their top priority.

After Hammarby's game against Gais, where Dovin was responsible for a spectacular effort, the goalkeeper was asked if this might have been his last game in the Hammarby shirt. The answer was neither yes nor no.

- I do not know. I can't answer that, he then told Expressen.

There are a lot of rumors surrounding Dovin and his future. He says it does not affect him significantly, and he is loyal to his employer.

- I just try to focus on my football, to come to Årsta every day and do my best. Not much more than that.

When the match against Gais was in extra time, Dovin was hit hard when he and Gais striker Alexander Ahl Holmström collided. Something that led to the goalkeeper lying down for a while as he lost his breath.

- I couldn't breathe. I tried to take small, small breaths to get my breath back, but it took a minute or so before I felt better. The bang itself made me gasp. It was a really disgusting feeling, I've never felt that before. It was damn hard there for a minute or so.

he says he does not know and can’t answer the question. Usually means he is off else it’s easy to just deny it.

Got a horrible feeling it will be another Forest situation and we will soon see a tweet on Wednesday or something saying the deal has been hijacked.

Won’t get too excited about this until the club comms.

We've got a big Swede in our side
Plays for City in sky blue and white
Stopping goals before they go in
and he goes by the name of Dovin

Yep, let’s all break into song - you’ll all be enraged if he drops one catch, or fumbles a shot. 🤣

All this is rather dependent on him actually coming here, of course. I can already hear the Forest scouts scuttling.

Still dont understand why we didnt go in for Johanson much more experienced at this level. Surely he would have made more sense and settled in quicker. Hes also a Swedish international. I know he had a stinker vs us but hes a standout keeper whenever i have seen him.

I know who i would have opted for.

Stoke will probably have offered obscene wages that we won’t match

He went for 7 figures. And there was interest from about 12 championship clubs including Sheffield United.

Still not convinced with a youngster in this position when it cries out fir experience. Still would have thought we could afford it after watching shit show after shit show end of season.

Any way i need to get over it.

I would have liked him as well to be fair and it does concern me that the scouting team’s goalkeeping pick from last summer has been bombed out already.

Wasn't there questions over his distribution?

Isnt there question marks over the best keepers in the world watching the Euros.

Fact is put Johanson in our team and i would be licking my lips over a genuine top 2 spot.
Why? Dovin seems more highly rated than Johansson within the Swedish setup. This forum has a weird obsession with that keeper that it really needs to let go. Out of us and Stoke i think i know who i'll trust to get it right/wrong...
