Isnt there question marks over the best keepers in the world watching the Euros.

Fact is put Johanson in our team and i would be licking my lips over a genuine top 2 spot.
I don't get the weird over hyping of Johanson. He isn't a modern goalkeeper, he is a decent throwback keeper. If he is as good as people make out why the feck was he at Rotherham for 4 years and why the hell did he end up at Stoke?! It's not like we've missed out on the second coming of Peter Schmeichel 🙄

We can do better.

Good shot stopper - limited in other aspects. Goalkeeper has to be able to play now, think that’s why he’s not ended up at top club.
And Stoke will have paid him a shit load.

Keepers who look good because they make loads of saves playing for shit low block teams always turn out to be bad when they go to a decent team.

Same reason Wilson went from the Golden Glove winner in 22/23 to now looks like he'll be 3rd choice. Low blocks negate loads of attributes you need in a more expansive team.

We'll be in for Dovin over Johanssen because we think one will be good enough for the Premier League and the other has already peaked as a Championship goalkeeper.

calm down you floofs, he plays for a team that is mid season so it's going to take longer to happen

they are likely going to make us wait until they have a replacement first

Hows it weird over hyping? Imo id rather a very experienced 25 years old keeper (which is still young for a keeper). Who can still improve. And someone who settles into the team NOW.

Lol Johanson isnt past it!

Fact is who ever we get isnt going to be risk free. Nature of where we still shop.

Not convinced by this lad. This already would be a big step up.

Still think Collins will start as no1. His to lose.

If we start with Collins, god help us. The defence will be shell shocked, by the time a new guy comes in.

Wakefield, Kane, Collins, Palmer, Dasilva, JCS, Dabo, Maatsen, Panzo

I’d say maybe three or four of those worked out well so 1/3 - 1/2 roughly. Not great when they’re personal recommendations.

How many were signed to be first teamers in the starting XI? That’s the important point.

Players like Wakefield and Kane weren’t signed for that purpose. Pretty much all of those players have improved us when you consider the circumstances they were brought in.

Not to single out JDS, he’s arguably the only one who hasn’t improved us given he joined last season.

Well the person who recommended a lot of those players is gone .

How's that not singling him out?
I don’t think he’s a bad player at all, he’s found himself out the team and struggling to make the desired impact - especially since we’ve changed formation.

That could change, he’s got a 4 year contract but if we’re looking at new LBs it’s not a good sign.

Even someone like Collins, is a better keeper than Wilson. His end to the season was bad, but leading up to that he was performing well compared to a lot of Champ GKs.

People are remembering the end of the season too much with players like Collins and Kitching .
When we were playing well and flying up the league both looked decent championship players , especially Kitching
I'm sure I read on here that Collins had a massive loss of confidence at the end of the season which is a shame as prior to that he looked very reliable and assured

How can Maatsen be one of his when he joined Chelsea after Adi left?

its sparks!! although not sure where people have got he missed training from. One of the Hammarby fan accounts just said he turned up 15 minutes late.

I see that George Smith on twitter is still parroting he did though as he read it on here.

I had him about this on Twitter the other day and he claims he isn't on here

Mental considering he takes stuff word for word on here and repeats it the pellet
