It amazes me how many footballers on the verge of a transfer go down with a minor injury.
The negotiations must be tougher that I thought.

According to several sources, Hammarby and Coventry have now verbally agreed on a transfer of Oliver Dovin.
The terms are so big that it will be one of the biggest goalkeeper transfers of all time.
FotbollDirekt has the details leading up to an England move for Dovin.

Oliver Dovin will leave Hammarby. After information in recent days through Expressen that only details remain, FotbollDirekt.se can now reveal that the parties have today verbally agreed on the 22-year-old goalkeeper.

As late as yesterday, sports director Mikael Hjelmberg also showed Fotbollskanalen that he believes a solution is close.

Dovin, who missed Monday night's meeting with IFK Gothenburg, is now expected to travel to England shortly for a medical.

The deal will be one of the biggest goalkeeper transfers we have seen.

According to FotbollDirekt's sources, the transfer itself is worth around SEK 22 million, plus several different bonus steps that are worth a total of up to 12 million, as well as 15 percent in resale.

It is a deal that is similar to the picture FD gave already a couple of weeks ago.

Already last winter Hammarby had the chance to sell Dovin to MLS club Portland Timbers for around 12 million - but chose to have ice in the stomach, something that they are now highly rewarded for.

A deal under these terms is only beaten by Pontus Dahlberg from IFK Göteborg to Watford FC in 2018 for 35 million SEK and Hákon Valdimarsson earlier this year from IF Elfsborg to Brentford (40 million).

Oliver Dovin has played a total of 84 competitive matches in green and white. In these, he has kept 28 clean sheets.

So the deal if those figures are correct is 1.6 million up front with 871K in bonuses and sell on fee. Can’t moan at that to be honest. Curious what he wages demands are based on the comments in the O’Hare thread

Does this mean we are no longer in for Michael Cooper, or do you think we’ll be signing 2 keepers this window?
That would probably rely on us being able to ship out both Wilson and Collins which seems unlikely.

Just remember those 28 clean sheets will be down to him having a good defence playing in front of him 😜 😂

Well yes. You refuse to beleive something til its fact. Did you not get excited about childhood toys til you knew it the batteries worked first?

You mean like Collins? I actually feel justified in not getting carried away with him.

Rudoni I said would be a good target and good fit. But I let the club do the work and wait until they officially announce things.

Plenty of transfer bomb at the last minute. It's not being sceptical it is being realistic.

But you won't even beleive he is signing despite various legitimate reports that he is.
