The point is, as has already been made the only news sources saying we were signing him were increasingly desperate Red Star sources trying to sell him.

The only UK based noise was Turner saying we had an interest but were not near signing him.

The Dovin story has a lot more independent sources and a longer history going back to May.

it's a million times more safe than the Kiwi's move to us.

The clubs have not yet agreed on a possible transfer, but discussions are ongoing. More information from Hammarby Football will come as soon as we have something new to announce.

Medical and final transfer details to be sorted over next couple of days then? Possible announcement Friday if all goes well?

Turns out when you are going after actual good players rather than leftovers everything takes a bit longer, which is a good thing. Also the selling club needed to find a replacement which is fair enough, plenty of times in the past i wished we'd lined up a replacement before letting someone piss off.
