It's as bad as the Premiership B teams playing in a League. An idea dreamt up by idiots for idiots.
Must be an National Newspaper Conspiracy against our owners!
What's the criteria for giving such awards?
Surely some kids get a real pitch side experience now most kids don't get to go?
All this National Press coverage has got to be good for us though, yes?

According to some people on here hedge funds don't care about bad PR. According to hedge funds themselves they do.....
So yes it does.
It's the Premier League not premiership!!!
I think the hedge fund is not affected by good or bad publicity . However Sepalla's credibility in the trade rides on the outcome of the 40 million so far invested . Unfortunately the fund name SISU (inner strength) leads us to surmise she will fight to the bitter end to save her reputation !I'm not convinced that Sisu really do care whether or not they get bad PR. If they cared, then surely they wouldn't let TF or ML make public statements.......
I'm a confirmed antediluvian on these matters, we're in Division 3 not League One.
More in The Independent today with piece in "Last Word" comment section under title "Coventry's award is crass"
It criticises the FL and says….
"They have already failed in their duty of care to supporters by allowing the club's owners, a Mayfair based hedge fund, to relocate the club to Northampton. Rewarding those behind the move insults a generation of parents and children who will lose the habit of watching the team"
Another one in the conspiracy against SISU!
SBTrust give praise to Pat Raybould and her team in a balanced article: http://www.skybluetrust.co.uk/index...football-league-award-is-for-people-like-pat?
Great article, it does show people within the club and volunteers still work hard!
If I was Oliver Kay I would be looking over my shoulder for Sisu's legal eagles, we've seen what has happened before when we get national press.........
If you're referring to the David Conn article that the Trust had a letter about also from clubs legal beagles then I believe that not only is it still on the website, no ammendments or apologies were ever made either. I'm guessing Mr Conn filed his letter straight into the A-Z/miscellaneous bin shaped filling cabinet on the floor.
To be fair, it was only a half arsed cease and desist
To be fair, it was only a half arsed cease and desist
And what exactly is that supposed to mean?
Is half hearted bullying acceptable? If your kids came home from school saying they were being threatened, would you tell them it isn’t serious and to wait until they have the cuts and bruises before complaining?
You really are a first class prat.
What's a SISU full arsed one then?
FAO Grendel (conspicuous by his absence on this thread) and so often looking to snipe at others. I think on this topic your misunderstanding was clear, not others, as ever you wanted to talk about semantics and proof and clearly spectacularly missed the point as a result. I wonder if you will concede your error? Your post on the other thread was:
Your statement clearly shows your lack of understanding here. Consumer satisfaction surveys tend to interview a random sample with a series of questions.
The factor of moving 35 miles would I'm afraid be considered invalid in this instance in the same way a car dealer would not be allowed to be viewed as negative from an irate customer whose car had broken down numerous times.
I mean, it was a cease and desist letter. Yes it was out of order, but it wasn't full blown legal action like some make out was it?
No its no different to someone from one side sending a PM telling someone to "back off" is it really?

A solicitor's letter making demands and threatening legal action verses a private message on a forum - I would say it is radically different
