Right, We definitely know a new stadium wont be built unless you're in the 2.2% that thinks it will so my point to this thread is we have been authorised 3 years in Playing at sixfields yes? A further 2 if sufficient plans are in place for a new stadium so now we know those plans are myths the further 2 years longer is not an option leaving 2.5 years left. With this in mind what will happen? Surely Otium will just rent back the Ricoh and I bet they would say "for the good of the fans" making it like they are doing us a favour when really it was never going to happen.

I say this because CCFC need a home and wont be left to dry even by Otium as selling CCFC is worth something back for them worse case. I still think this is the big year as if we don't move back after 1 year away it makes it more difficult and less likely. But maybe new owners or buy the Ricoh but staying 5 years Is not an option.

What do you think will happen in the next 2.5 years as this is the maximum time left away?

Sorry but I think you'll find no time restriction applies but if it does an extension will be granted. PUSB!

Its 3 years and without no hard proof then the 2 years wont be granted. (hopefully)

A lot of people, including myself, are making hard decisions already, after just 6 months into the 3 years.
Last year supporting home and away, initially this year only going away, now not going to either. Even last night chose to go out instead of listening to it on the radio.
What will it be like in 2 and half years time. Perhaps I'm no longer a hardened fan like some of these guys, particularly at 'home', who can just support the team, whatever dive it may be and continue regardless. (Nero syndrome?)

Perhaps it's age. When I was a teenager music was my whole life but now it is one of those things I can take or leave.

Ignoring that we don't actually know anything of the sort, even if plans didn't exist you've pointed out how they've got over two years to rustle some up.

Try sticking some Clash on or Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros; you might feel up for it again!

But that's exactly my point 2 years or 8 years these plans don't exist. Your point is irrelevant. Show me plans and I will show you a liar.

And if you were on the panel making decisions your point about us 'knowing' these plans are myths would be relevant, sadly that's not the case.

Considering they were allowed to take the club to Northampton in the first place how strict do you think they'll be when this initial period comes to an end? They could show some sketches and an IOU and the Football League would lap it up.

yes I agree with your last point and made me laugh. Yes my opinion matters nothing but it wont happen so something has to give. That's my point.

Point of order here but:

22.7% believe sisu will build a new stadium if they are unable to buy the Ricoh.

So nearly a quarter of fans surveyed.

That's what I'm saying though, it wouldn't take much for the FL to be satisfied that there are plans no matter how weak they are. That they have little to show now means little when they've got so long to conjure something up.

22.7 is still massively low I would say. unable to buy the ricoh is a funny point anyway as how will it ever be sold?

No. I do think they can knock up credible plans to however.

I don't think they can as that 2 year extension is to complete the stadium if it hasn't been started then it wont be planned and built within 2 years.

I know there are many fans out there who are still not sure that a new stadium is going to be built but, having met with the owners of the club, I can see they are very determined to do so and I am hoping to see the first images of the new stadium in the few next days.

The technical designs have been drafted and now it’s vitally important that supporters have a say and input on the look and feel of the stadium because we want it to be our home and a place where we enjoy watching and supporting our team. - Sandra Garlick Chair of CCFC Stadium Forum.

So I assume KOK that you think another City fan would lie to other City fans?

Ann Lucas has been a Cov fan for years and a season ticket holder, didn't stop her being called all sorts by some. Likewise on here all Cov fans, abuse and accusations a plenty...
So your point is what Cov fans are angels?

Possibly but more likely she has been fed bullshit and its her daily job and is being hired by Otium so she is hardly going to come out and say "this stadium talk is bollocks but don't tell anybody." I believe she is innocent but I could see plans and go oh yeah. Nothing concrete is there.

No but there is more to indicate its a possibility rather than it won't be. Plus she hardly looks the type to be fed BS as doesn't she work for DeMarco solicitors?

The Football League give me absolutely no confidence they'd ever stick to those terms at all.
