But still just on goal difference not in the bottom 3 !!
Also only one win !!
Hopefully our luck will change ...... very very soon !!
We could easily have 10 points (and more) atm but those points are gone now.
Time to win at Barnsley , we are not going down !!

All our losses apart from ipswich were by one goal only ,and in reality the performances were worthy of draws, and palace a win,we're capable of mid table ,when you look @ what palace did last night and forrests implosion anything can happen in this league

true...but how long until these last minute goals conceded start to grate on the players confidence and heads begin to drop? It also doesn't help when players are jeered off when substituted.

We could easily be sitting in the top 10 by now if we'd seen out these games. However, the word 'luck' is used here. These last minute blunders are not down to bad luck. It's down to ill discipline, poor defending and loss of concentration. For far too long we've been a side that folds in the last few minutes of games.

Coventry must surely be world famous for late goal. Even when I was a kid I can remember them doin it. Whenever I tell my missus the score and say "they scored in the last minute" she always replies "what again"!!!!

The last minute stuff is also down to lack of experience - you have a lot of youngsters on the pitch, playing some old pros who know how to string it out.

I wouldn't take that as much of an excuse to be honest. Even young pros know you have to keep your concentration till the end of each half of each game and there ARE some experienced heads in there too. It's just lack of concentration through tiredness or maybe even complacency?

Overall I am happy with things at the moment on the pitch. You are not getting the rub of the green at times, but that will come. I am starting to feel would could have a mid table finish, which I would be more than happy with.

Haha that's the same as my missus.

We're the experts at late drama -
I can recall letting in TWO last minute goals at Scarborough a few seasons back and then there was that stoppage time equaliser at Ipswich only for them to kick off and score again. This seasons Crystal Palace collapse, the Portsmouth cup replay defeat (last minute of normal time and extra time),the Reading penalty miss, Blackburn away in the cup, West Ham at home when Turner made an error, I could be here all day typing.

We do show a lot of naivety in these situations, refs don't help llast night blackpool deliberately tried to stop momentum with their injuries ,i still maintain turner was fouled by Cole against west ham ,and Micheal brown got away with murder with his antics @the end of that portsmouth game ,the ref never dealt with him ,and yes our lads lost their focus

At Derby a few seasons ago where we were 2-0 up and Peschisolido scored 2 in injury time!

Our point tally could have been double if we had avoided last minute mistakes. We gave away 3 points in the Palace game, could have gained 2 points if Juke had scored the penalty against Reading, and we lost 2 points last night by conceding another last minute goal. Those 7 points could have taken us up to 6th or 7th in the table by now. You could look at it in a positive way i guess. We should be good enough to be up there but we make stupid mistakes. Could cost us at the end of the season though if those points had mattered.
