Much improved compared to a decade ago!
And me , fair play to themAmazed Middlesbrough so high given their proximity to most grounds
Wouldn't you want to leave Middlesbrough at every opportunity?Amazed Middlesbrough so high given their proximity to most grounds
Yes, in the top flight their numbers were never particularly impressive and certainly nowhere near the other north east teamsAmazed Middlesbrough so high given their proximity to most grounds
I reckon the numbers will be slightly higher for us next season , our support will grow slightly home and away next season

Haven't looked through the whole thread, but as has been pointed out elsewhere, other team's figures are boosted by our away capacity (disadvantages us in the final totals). In addition, our allocations were restricted at some grounds compared to other teams (Derby and QPR spring to mind).
Think our away support is as good as any as said there can be up to 5000 away at our ground I don’t think there is any other ground anywhere near that. I bet for a lot of clubs Cov is there big away game. Unfortunately it seems we have got a bit of a reputation so our allocation reflects that.
Not sure we’re any Championship club’s big away day, for a generation we’re a lower league club.Think our away support is as good as any as said there can be up to 5000 away at our ground I don’t think there is any other ground anywhere near that. Decent from blues given how shit they are
They’ll bring 6,000 again or whatever we give them now if it’s a Saturdayif Leeds get relegated I don’t think we will have much of a reputation then
We’re a big away day but only because we give massive allocations. Bit like what MK Dons were for us in League One and we’re also easy for most clubs to get to as well. Not sure we’re any Championship club’s big away day, for a generation we’re a lower league club.

Just DerbyHave we been given fewer tickets than some other clubs due to the some what negative reputation we have thanks to the dickhead minority?
We ain’t now if you lookNot sure we’re any Championship club’s big away day, for a generation we’re a lower league club.
Our away support has been similar for almost a decade , well since the Northampton debacle ..whatever year that was .We ain’t now if you look
Yeah the early to mid-00s was pretty depressing, it always used to be same old faces and pretty flat. Our away support has been similar for almost a decade , well since the Northampton debacle ..whatever year that was .
Before Northampton it was .. well , much worse
The Northampton move galvanised our away support and it's been very good since

Crazy comparing our away support to a decade ago. I remember being at away games at places like Sheffield United/Preston/Burnley where we’d take less than 500 or so. Even local games at West Brom, Wolves, Leicester etc we wouldn’t always sell out, and they’d always make general sale.
Next season I can see most of our away games being sell outs. Only problem is the core of our away support are mongs/families
