Our away support this season (1 Viewer)

I reckon the numbers will be slightly higher for us next season , our support will grow slightly home and away next season

Haven't looked through the whole thread, but as has been pointed out elsewhere, other team's figures are boosted by our away capacity (disadvantages us in the final totals). In addition, our allocations were restricted at some grounds compared to other teams (Derby and QPR spring to mind).

Have we been given fewer tickets than some other clubs due to the some what negative reputation we have thanks to the dickhead minority?

There is an argument to be made about the lower than normal allocation at Birmingham, and at Derby.

Would probably have taken us to the 2000 mark at best tbh .. the numbers are still very good for us , we have one of the best followings in the league , better than 75% of the league

Think our away support is as good as any as said there can be up to 5000 away at our ground I don’t think there is any other ground anywhere near that. I bet for a lot of clubs Cov is there big away game. Unfortunately it seems we have got a bit of a reputation so our allocation reflects that.

if Leeds get relegated I don’t think we will have much of a reputation then

Not sure we’re any Championship club’s big away day, for a generation we’re a lower league club.

We’re a big away day but only because we give massive allocations. Bit like what MK Dons were for us in League One and we’re also easy for most clubs to get to as well.

True, but we give a big allocation and many teams haven't played us for a while (when fans have been allowed in).

Our away support has been similar for almost a decade , well since the Northampton debacle ..whatever year that was .

Before Northampton it was .. well , much worse

The Northampton move galvanised our away support and it's been very good since
Yeah the early to mid-00s was pretty depressing, it always used to be same old faces and pretty flat.

Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday numbers will again have been restricted by the size of some of the away grounds allocations. I will console myself that if Wycombe come up, we will hopefully get our usual points quota, whereas if Sunderland come up, we will get a lot of extra revenue. hopefully the same amount of points, although the policing bill will be a tad more than the Wycombe game!

We give Blues and Albion the same allocation they gave us as those positions pretty much reverse. The fact we sold outour last 6 away games with ease also frustrating, the allocations just weren't there.

We were also hampered by smaller allocations at Derby and QPR (our fault) than others received. That and a couple of shit followings, Barnsley for one.

Crazy comparing our away support to a decade ago. I remember going to places like Sheffield United/Preston/Burnley where we’d take less than 500 or so. Even local games at West Brom, Wolves, Leicester etc we wouldn’t always sell out, and they’d always make general sale.

Next season I can see most of our away games being sell outs. Only problem is the core of our away support are mongs/families
