Yet according to some we are shit fans compared to most clubs.
We average 7.5k at home (only 3rd best in L2 and less than Lincoln!!), and its home attendances that bring in revenue that pays players wages. I'd bet most of that away following also go to the Ricoh, so where are the other 35k who were at Wembley?

Waiting for SISU to fuck off
Yeah, they will all return for the one game after sisu fuck off then go back to their armchairs.

It makes me laugh, when we went to Northampton everyone was saying that people will stop going and find other stuff to do and will never return, that once you're out of the habit of going then they won't return. Surely the exact same thing will/has happened to those actively NOPMing - they will find other stuff to do, other hobbies and never return?

Maybe we should do a Tottenham and swap our home games for Wemberlee.

Guaranteed 45k Home attendances every week.....

We drew 0-0 at Old Trafford in 1980, and our pen felt very empty and lonely. With 40,000 Mancunians chanting at us, we needed good humour to get us through. It seemed like we had about 50 at the time, but I dare say it was more like a couple of hundred.

Remember going to my first visit to Old Trafford in that pen-absolutely brilliant atmosphere, Cov boys were superb and just sang throughout.

We won 1-0 thanks to a scuffed Gary Bannister goal in front of our end.

I think it was 1986?

Yep after everything this club has been through 7.5k at home and an away support up there with championship clubs that’s impressive
Well done!!

Sounds good business sense. I'm sure our fan base would be happy with that.

I think quite a few people are going to watch CRFC since Northampton.
Just a change of ownership won’t win back fans it will need a successful and relatively entertaining football team as well. It’s a real shame the Mowbray way never worked out. Success based on the football in that first full season would have made a big difference

Our home crowds are poor for a club of our 'size'. There's no way of dressing it up, regardless of our shit our owners are.

Rubbish from what our club has gone through over the last 10 years plus some of the footbal that has been served up this season on top of that. 7.5k and the best away support is tremendous.

Nah, you're wrong. Whilst the away following is commendable, there is absolutely nothing tremendous about our home crowds, and given the figure contains away supporters you're probably looking at 6.8k home fans, from a catchment area of around 900k of cov and warks. Terrible.

Correct - the away support also is likely to drop down in numbers if we remain in this league next season.

Given the number of season tickets the number of fans coming to the games on a ad hoc basis is poor.

The stoke cup game is against premier opposition but again poor take up.

1989 and it wasn't 'scuffed'. He turned like Dalglish and drilled it into the bottom corner! That was our last ever league victory at OT.

I went to Norwich away around 2002 time when they were building the new stand, we had two rows of seats for half the length of the pitch in front of some wooden boards in front of building works. It was absolutely lashing it down all match and the stewards kept trying to throw people out for standing up!!!

I was at that game and you're right, the stewards were being arseholes. They seemed to think that issuing us with a free poncho gave them the right to order us around like we were cattle.

That's right Adge and we all had a go at counting - If I recall correctly we had varied totals knocking around the low '80's'. Pah! 49 my arse!
Your little 'exchange' with Telfer as he carried the kit coffin out to the coach with George Dalton!
I think we all had our bit to say when “our hero’s” were boarding the coach. N’dlovu’s death stare still haunts me!
