Slight adjustment.

Our Darkest Hour is Behind Us... until the 2 years is up.

My guess is that it will either be Walsall or Halesowen.

The battle to get back to the Ricoh is over. The battle to stay has just begun.

It can wait till Saturday morning though as I want to enjoy Friday night first ;)

We will stay. I think they'll have learnt that moving us away is not a good idea. Do you really believe they'll build?

What I believe doesn't really come into it. While they're threatening it, it's a problem.

Personally I believe that the best way to quwash this nonsense is get as big a crowds as possible to the Ricoh. If we're getting 20k + to every home game they can no longer talk about a 12/14/16k stadium or whatever capacity it was that TF would argue is enough. They never really explained the maths on that, they're really going to struggle on a 20/25k + capacity stadium and they're also going to struggle to justify building a stadium with a smaller capacity than the current home gates to the FL/FA and more importantly the FL/FA are really going to struggle to justify allowing them to. So once that BS is nipped in the bud we can all move on.

The other benefit of filling the Ricoh is it makes it harder for SISU to justify not giving SP a decent playing budget which should have the added bonus of giving a fighting chance of promotion and then a fighting chance of SISU selling up and leaving us for good.

What all this shows is IF we ever get back to the PL 32k is the size of stadium we would need to accommodate our fans that would only normally come to big games. Not to mention the 2-4k away following PL teams get.
Hope SISU now have this message and realize a 14k all seater would be short sighted in the extreme. With a train station coming for the start of next season, they need to buy the Ricoh and soon.

Alternatively of course they could build another 32,000 seater stadium near Coventry and build their own train station too.

Piece of piss.

Not sure whether or not our darkest hour is behind us. The black clouds of Sisu are still hanging around; who knows what the future will bring if those spivs and chancers are still here.
