Use your imagination to replace certain words with Coventry flavoured spice, as I cant be arsed

but to start you off...."Castle RICOH,
Home for many centuries to a dreadful dynasty of vicious, vampire ducks CUNTS (SISU)

if you play along you will find it funny, if not go fuck yourself ;)

Another classic from Simple Minds, before they became that awful bloated stadium rock band:

Yeah, I saw them a couple of times. One of Sheffield's finest. Shame most of the stuff is deleted now, they deserve a wider audience.

Me too - my favourite band still. Saw them in Roots Hall twice in 1980ish.

One of the times they were supporting U2, but weren't interested in them, just wanted to see "Eye Of The Lens" live! Somewhere in Brum, when I was 15.

Edit: The other time at Cov Uni.

Sure it wasn't Lanchester Poly back then?

Martin Degville from Sigue Sigue Sputnik getting bottled and needing 7 stitches after "performing" there in about 1985 still one of my fondest memories.

Christ, they were awful.

Cov Uni = the Lanch? I reckon my sister was at that U2 gig. She must be about your age. I had left for Uni, she knew all the Comsat songs from me playing over the years but nothing of U2 (pop music that was).

Yes, the Lanch, what is Cov uni now. Saw some great stuff there over the years. Do they still have gigs there?

Yeah, I saw SSS, but in London. They were rubbish, it had to be said. I'm still quite fond of the LP though with the adverts between tracks.

Ooh, really. You were on THAT train? Jeez. I was really sad when he died as The Sound were fantastic, I just don't think he could cope with the lack of success.

He delayed my train.

If it all goes wrong on Friday, might have to find somebody else to support, either these or Honved..
