Fair enough. As @shmmeee says if you have examples somebody could Tweet the club & ask. As the stats above prove you'll probably at least get a response!

The commercial side of the business is an embarrassment- tynan scope may be over worked I’ve no idea but he’s incapable of engaging with commercial opportunities

It's not perfect, but considering the feeble budget towards it from the club is okay.

Let's not forget the guys in the team are being paid effectively minimum wage.

which is pathetic - the whole thing is a shambles - I tried to get involved in sponsoring the club utter waste of time tbh

What are your thoughts on our social media presence?

Personally, I feel this is quite poor! You look at other clubs and they put out a ton load more than us. Things like

Pre-season training
Interviews with players
YouTube - pre/post interviews are awful
After training videos of players
New signings, just a short clip of the standard can’t wait to join, great club, big fan base 😴

I feel like we need more engagement with the fans
Hope you’re settling in well new fan engagement officer.

Its well down the list of priorities for the club in my opinion... even on the commercial side it should be down the list...

I was locked out of my ticket account for over a month as they clearly don't (or didn't) have the capacity to respond to emails.... things such as ticketing and responding to emails should hold greater priority than social media imo

I have a 12 year old daughter, I have the app so she doesn’t have to. I don’t dance or anything 😂
Have you come across the Arsenal account, it's pretty well done. Hate to say it so is the Aston Villa one. It's easy content to make and with two big Unis in Coventry surely we could collaborate with their students for relatively small sums.

We need to get the 12-18yo age group engaged as they are the fans of the future.

From what I see at games there’s plenty even younger getting hooked just from match days.

The biggest gap is on our video output - just look at any other Championship club's YouTube page.

Derby have longform features, match highlights packaged up with interviews (including for the academy and women's sides), in-studio panel discussions...

Huddersfield have ten-minute behind the scenes videos from matchday, full press conference replays, 20-minute preview shows for this weekend's game, training montages...

Those are just two random examples. By contrast we don't seem to have any video expertise on our social media team. Not blaming them, as they're clearly stretched and likely underpaid, and it's hardly the most important thing to me, but it's pretty obvious we have a L1/L2-standard operation in place.
If you look at the views for that type of content I think you can see why the club wouldn't bother. Seems people watch match highlights and pretty much anything else fails to get the same level of engagement.

The club did do behind the scenes stuff on match days for a while but if its not getting views they aren't going to just keep putting out content for it to be ignored.

I think the team put the effort in and although I appreciate it I feel like the club should invest in some decent media equipment. Cameras, mics, lights flashes etc to just bump the quality up and move away from the home made feel

Agree were doing okay but the use of TT would only enhance engagement with those fans and others perspective fans. I think it could also help CCFC reach demographics of fans that are currently under represented.

Call me a grumpy sod but I think we should be encouraging that age group away from social media, not further into it.

Considering the entirety of the comms team is Hornby, Alex Lowe and a student on work experience I'd say they do a decent job.

The content is awful from a creative viewpoint, but that's not by choice - it's what they can successfully pull off while focusing on other areas like marketing, press, enquiries while also doing without good-standard video equipment.

Training pics stopping and starting, inconsistent U23 highlights, player interviews, etc all point to them being massively overworked.

Notts County did a training video in pre season. Basically manager, players had microphones on and it was am intense 15 min video showing drills, mini games, feedback, advice to players. Tbh for non league, it was quality and gave a real insight into what goes on.

I've found the u23/u18 coverage frustrating. Considering both teams are top of their league, you'd think we could offer out more output for them. Perhaps covid has stopped it but they don't even say who's scored for u18s anymore or actually tell us when they've played. Slowpoke has to!

Considering the salaries posted when they had vacancies, I think they do a great job. With Twitter, it’s mostly used by the club for customer service means I.e. responding to fans questions and complaints. They are bang on for replying promptly and openly. I would rather that was the approach than posting lots of content and little customer service. They also have a sense of humour on Twitter which has to be applauded with all the repeat questions they get about tickets.
If they had a bigger marketing team I’m sure they would post more content.

Now we're back at the Ricoh long-term though we need to see more resources invested into the commercial team. As a revenue stream it's literally our lifeblood and yet we don't seem to bother maximising it to its fullest potential, that's how it looks like from the outside looking in anyway. Understandably much of that was put on hold due to Covid and the move to St Andrews but now we're back it would be good to see if there's some kind plan in place rather than us constantly looking like we're treading water.

@Sky Blue Pete seems to have a rapport with Boddy so perhaps something to broach to him.

It seems we're still playing catch up off the field, that we are now a Championship club and not the doldrums of League 2.

It needs improving, i'm sure there are plans in place.

I'm sure there are but it's just whether they'll follow through with those plans. I've always found that's their biggest issue.

For the resources we have, our Twitter feed runs about as well as you would imagine IMO.

Got to say as i cruise the other Championship Fans Forum websites this has to be one of the best and most informative and fun - perhaps that why there is so much social media engagement - FB is just full of self trolls- i get emails from the club pretty regularly leading up to and following matches - interviews etc

Well Tynan has contacted so fair play to him. He didn’t ask for my autograph but can’t ask for everything I suppose

Would like to see more of these on our social media

To be fair it's the best stand for atmosphere in the ground. If they filmed other sections of the ground, it would probably be quite uneventful

I could probably do without footage of Mrs BSB fawning over Sky Blue Sam before kick off
