His CV is great. Fair play to him for his acheivements.

It does make you wonder how he ended up with us, and in fairness to him, the core problems at CCFC were created by others.

In addition and, acccording to the court records, Joy knocked back a deal that he had agreed to and shook hands on. So he doesn't have a free hand here.

If I were him, I would be working on a personal career plan "B", ready for the day when the CCFC project implodes - as it must. He has enough qualifications to get a decent job or leading position somewhere.

Impressive credentials, but unable to find another job in the City since being sacked 10 years ago. Wonder why.....

Is his CV great?

From the Commerzbank Wiki article (he was head of Risk remember)

It suffered reversals in a disastrous foray into investment banking in the early 2000s and eventually closed down its Commerzbank Securities investment banking unit after Chairman Klaus-Peter Müller labelled it a "problem child".[SUP][2][/SUP]

Sounds like your average City boy to me. Right place right time to make money, no discernible talent otherwise.

Yet another in a long line of executives who get rich doing bugger all it seems to me.

So whats the excuse for the constant spouting of Bullshit through the media or is that down to Joy as well

Does that mean people have degrees in running football clubs or running councils the way they slag them off? :)

I didn't mention that, just said for some companies that is a desirable attribute.

How is lying and talking crap "desirable"? Get a grip man, even in the cynical world of business it is better to make lies sound plausible and 'spectable.
Christ, you're some weirdo.

Can you get a degree in running a council or a football team?

Weirdo? Why? There are plenty of people who get paid a lot of money to talk shit. Morals and ethics have nothing to do with it.

The man works in The City. Talking crap and lying are the first two items on the person spec.

I am sure you can get related degrees :) The same as people must be UEFA A qualified to discuss whether a player played well! :(

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised, but they seem to be two industries you need absolutely no experience in to join.

It'd be good if all Chairmen and MPs had to do an NVQ L3 or something.

Totally agree Nick but it does appear that CCFC has attracted more than its fair share of them over the years.

I think there is some kind of degree offered at a London university called football administration (or something similar). I wish I'd made that up, but I haven't :thinking about:

I actually thought this when Leeds appointed their new manager. Any other industry, a moderately lengthy spell runnign a smaller operation would make you an ideal candidate to step up and have a go at a bigger job. In football, it leads (no pun:facepalm: ) to being written off in favour of the bloke with zero experience, who excelled in another job entirely!

Thinking about it Warwick Uni do something don't they? My mate had her car parked by Roy Keane once there. I'm sure she said he was on a management course.

No wonder he took the Villa job. I hadn't realised he had fallen on such hard times, I mean Roy Keane doing valet parking at the Uni.
Still I suppose it offers more work satisfaction than working with Adrian Chiles.;)

Perhaps Tim's engineering background is where the problem started:

To the optimist, the glass is half full.

To the pessimist, the glass is half empty.

To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
