Everything a bit meh so 6.5 all round. Did the job, need to kill games off. Crowd was a bit off too.

Won the game though, clean sheet, first goal for BTA and Sheafo back unscathed so still a decent shift from all.

Wilson 6 (nothing to do but was calm and accurate playing out with his feet)
Latibeudiere 7 (solid. Being good in the air is a bonus at RB)
Thomas 7 (generally defended and covered well. A few loose balls but better than recent)
Kitching 7 (same as above)
DaSilva 7.5 (great first touch. Didn't pull out of any challenges. Covered well and looked sharp)
Eccles 7 (came looking for the ball more. Some decent defensive work. Sometimes needlessly slows the game down)
Allen 7.5 (always available. Played some nice penetrating passes)
Palmer 6 (started brightly and got the assist but his game became sloppier as the match progressed)
Mason-Clark 7 (Much better on the left. Some great pieces of skill. He has tremendous upper body strength. Needs to release the ball sooner at times)
Bassette 7 (impressive debut. Intelligent runs and good pace. Looks like he has quick feet too)
Thomas-Asante 7 (decision making lacking at times. He is good in the air for his height and was unlucky with the header. Great shift)

Van Erwijk 8 motm (weird to give motm to a sub but thought he was excellent again. He seems more willing this season to run at players. Has great knack of getting body in front of attacker when they look favourite)
Sakamoto 7 (kept the ball and pressed well)
Torp 7 (lovely curling effort saved and some good tackling)
Sheaf 7.5 (just effortless)
Rudoni n/a

We should get a decent number of penalties this season with the players we have that can dribble into the box. Mason-Clark, Thomas-Asante particularly.

And plenty of takers you'd assume!

Dasilva, best game in our shirt.
Asante decent, works tirelessly, could have had a hat trick.
Sheafo, class knits it all together.
EMC, skills and pace, going to be a handful.
Bassett looks like a gem 💎
Wilson, another clean sheet
Lati, he was faultless and probably shood have scored.
The rest more than good enough.

Wilson 6.5 seems much more composed and confident, although wasn't really tested.
Lati 6.5 did ok, lacks pace as a full back
Da Silva 6.5 ok.
Thomas 7 did ok, knows how to win a foul
Kitching 6.5 solid enough, should have scored
Eccles 6.5 gets in the game. Tried more forward passes but isn't very good at it. Lacks pace.
Allen 6.5. Did some good things but not much presence.
Palmer 7. Showed the most quality and aggression first half then faded.
EMC 7. Did well second half. Doesnt use his strength that well.
BTA 6.5. All a bit frantic and uncontrolled. Falls over a lot looking for fouls, too obviously. But had a few chances and is a pest.
Bertie 7.5. Worked hard, confident, with pace. Promising start. He did a lot of pressing on his own.
Sheaf 7 some quality touches and movement. Good to have him back.
Saka 6 disappointing. Did little going forward but worked defensively.
Torp 6. Tried, had a good shot but not much influence.
MVE 7 showed some pace but didn't do that much.

You could see the change in the team as soon as he stepped on the pitch, tempo increased, belief increased, could have ran out 3 or 4 goals to the good
