Shut up you pellet.
What's he said that's so wrong?

Sheaf was ok today. Like wright he needs these minutes and will get much better

Eccles was poor. People will need to stop going to extremes with him. He's not a lower league player. He's not a top championship player. He's a good squad rotation option but ideally we don't wanna start him in too many games

Officials were on LSD today though.

Never ever see those pens given, Thomas gets elbowed early doors and a player runs his studs down MVE's leg but nothing done. Books their player for diving (again rarely see it) but then the ball is about 5 foot out when Wright "kept it in" and they miss it.
Seeing the replay Thomas pull on his shirt then immediately shoved to the floor. Clear view for the ref.

what sub would you have made though?

ideally Torp is fit and you play him further forward with Sheaf and Grimes in the middle - Sheaf was solid when he came on so surely you’re not blaming him for Eccles being appaling, again?

Well, I don't think Eccles played his best today, but he was nowhere near as bad as you make out he was. Up until Sheaf came on he was absolutely fine, but like him, the whole shape of the team fell apart in the second half to accommodate Sheaf. It's 3 defensive midfielders, and it would have been smarter to bring on Allen.

It doesn't matter as we won, but it is something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks. We've going to have a bit of a selection problem, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. That said, the best players on merit should be selected, and we shouldn't shoe horn players in just for the sake of it. We've got a good thing going.

Enjoyed that. By no means a marquee performance but hard fought against a side playing like a non-league outfit fighting for every decision from the officials.

I still feel like there's more to come from the side. Stoke really should sell out. This team is up for it.
Yeah they deserve a full house against Stoke

Oxford fans its all the ref fault. Yet non of the decisions actually effected the outcome of the game as we missed the pen. Even though it was a pen as their player pulled Thomas shirt and tried to ride him

agree, although I’m not sure it was about shoehorning Sheaf in as much as it was Rudoni’s injury

Eccles was poor today, and cost one goal, but we won, so all is forgiven

The Stoke game atmosphere is going to be rocking.

Any news about Rudoni's injury yet?

Eccles and Bidwell were pretty shite today, but we won again so doesn't really matter.
Eccles is easily replaced when everyone is fit. LB however is a problem area that I wish was addressed in January. Bidwell definitely has these games in him but the alternative is bloody Dasilva. You'd want someone better than both ideally.

Eccles was fine.
If you don't agree take it up with Lampard.

The irony of you not understanding the meaning of the word irony.
I reckon a Canadian singer/songstress could make a hit out of that.

did you have to go and look it up in a dictionary?

you told me to shut up but then in the next post championed the fact this is an open forum where people are entitled to air views - that’s the very definition of irony

you’re boring me now, so unless you’ve got a football related opinion I won’t bother putting you back in your box again

I thought Sheaf played fine. As for shoehorning him in, Rudoni was injured and I would rather Sheaf on than Allen. I like Allen, but Sheaf is the much better technical player, and Sheaf and Eccles in front of Grimes is much better than Eccles and Allen.

I get that you do not rate Sheaf, but I think you're very harsh at times.. Agreed with Eccles, worked hard and battled, but was very poor on the ball.

Good wind up, fair play, for a moment I thought you were as stupid as you're coming across.

Wins all that matter now. On we go!

Rudoni in sling will be precautionary, fact he played 1st half should suggest not serious as looked at first glance.

Christ haji looked rusty 😆😆😆
Haji looked out of shape. Needs to shed a few pounds.

Bidwell isn't helped by having zero cover in front of him
