Having a strong bench means you can make changes if things aren’t going well that can strengthen us, rather than weaken us. Also if winning comfortably you can bring on good players knowing it won’t negatively effect the performance

I think I allowed for that. Only really comes into play when things are going badly. Do we expect things to go badly today?
