Curiously me and a friend I sit with have always moaned that we've never been able to understand anything from the pa system (a bit like the old WW2 bomber pilot Carling BL advert - if your old enough) since the stadium opened, not just volume but terrible quality. It seems it's been turned up and it's almost audible in the last few games.

They are mixing up volume and clarity. The latter is the prerequisite.

There was a really odd moment before kick off. They played the beginning of WLADITT, before the bass kicks in. Then switched to that dramatic pre match build up song, then quickly switched again to feeling hot hot hot. Was weird.
Also the "glitch" graphic on the names when they're reading out the teamsheet is so overdone, the announcer goes too quick for it and it just looks a mess because they have to cycle through faster than the animation is going.

This! I’ve said the same all season, but apparently I’m boring. No, they’ve tried too hard to be edgy and it looks shit.
Pre match they really should’ve stuck with Intro by The xx and updated the clips a little bit. That, imo, was golden.

I actually like the glitch graphic thing. But use it once. Or twice. Not over and over as if you're trying to induce epileptic fits among the crowd.

I noticed when we were at Portsmouth they had the team line-up scrolling on the pitch side ad boards. That would look good.

Agree about the XX intro clips pre-match. Was always a bit emotional watching that, and the adding of clips as new moments happened through the season

The highlights video that would show before each home game showing all of the clubs most memorable moments over the years and it would end on the current season.

Sadly missed. Was George Hudson on here. As far as I know is still the only person to be given a season ticket for life by the club. Was the announcer at Wembley for England and cup finals as well as HR.

Most fans don't realise they are only allowed to put the ball back on the cones. It is down to players to get the ball.

It’s a silly new rule. It slows the game down. Give each of them a ball and the nearest rolls it to the player.

That's exactly what they wanted IMO,too many incidents of being Stared at or abused by opposition manager's and crowds tbf!
