Getting rid of him has allowed Torp to get more game time, and we are starting to see some good form from him. He put in some lovely passes, inc getting an assist for the equaliser. He looked a lot better than Palmer did yesterday.

Let's not mention the pen though 🤔
I am not missing Palmer. I think midfield 3 is not his role and that's what we play under lampard. No out and out 10

What Palmer O’Hare gave you was ball carrying through the middle. Until yesterday we’ve lacked that massively this season. But looked like Rudoni has started to pick that mantle up a little which is great. He had the ability to run at players and we need much more that.

Rudoni is effective and deserves more credit. He's a key player for us. He’s now on three goals and five assists. If the post hadn't robbed Simms yesterday, he'd have six assists. He'd have four goals if he'd given Torp a shout on Wednesday.

For comparison… Palmer has two goals and 0 assists, and O’Hare has two goals and three assists.

Rudoni is coming in to his own now. I did like Palmer I thought he tried stuff that others wouldn't to unlock defences and was a good option but wouldn't spend crazy money on that option. Unfortunately he definitely believes in his own hype and with a bit more graft off the pitch he'd be a much better player.

He also had a deflected shot go down as an own goal, can't remember who it was against now.
