He has a year left on his contract. His impactful start is one goal in reality and two assists in games against reserve opponents.

Robins was fairly back handed in his compliments. If someone will take him we will let him go

Such a frustrating player. Match winner on his day. But those days are few and far between. Obviously has talent.
The Bristol City synopsis when we signed him 3 seasons ago.

He could be a very good player at this level if he could put it all together, time is running out now.

Robins clearly likes Palmer but his comments the other day were strange. + last year of his deal and from all accounts a high earner. I love KP and have defended him, but if it means we can bring in that CM, and maybe another then makes sense. Bassette's signing made it clear someone was going from those attacking players. Palmer is a brilliant option off the bench, impact sub. Hopefully Rodrigues can fill that role when he's fit.

This makes the basette transfer even more confusing for me. I just do not understand why we would buy so many forwards and now be so thin in midfield, and now going to be even more thin.

My guess is EMC will replace KP in that role when needed and Bassette will replace EMC out wide

Generally OK with this because of his inconsistency but horrible timing as he’s our creative spark at the moment. I hope the ones we’ve got lined up are good.

He's already got a goal and 2 assists.

Guess he can't please some people.

His two assists are against reserve teams in a cup. Over his 3 years here he has been a let down.

Quite likely. At Bristol he waved for longer and his body language was shite the other night, <enter other such clichés>

He does add to the team, but it’s rarely the important stuff. Replacement crucial.

I wouldn't say he's been a let down, I'd say he hasn't lived up to his ability. Whether that's psychological or what. I'd say he's been a good servant and on his day is our most creative player.
