He has before and he will again.
You're mad if you think he signed Palmer to sit him on the bench.
He’s just creating a situation to suit his argument
When o hare was fit how games did he and Palmer play together?
You keep going on about how expensive Palmer was - why would we spend that much money on him to put him on the bench behind Allen? It makes zero sense.
Hahahahah
Amazing lack of self awareness. As usual.
He signed Palmer to give him an opportunity to shed his reputation as an inconsistent, injury-prone luxury player. It hasn't happened. He has before and he will again.

They were both fully fit at the same time for about 2 games. Palmer started one and Allen started the other IIRC.

I think Palmer had a legitimate shot at the start of the season to be considered the AM2 in the box formation, but he hasn't taken his chances and now Allen is clearly the guy that Robins trusts.
so Palmer wasn’t in the bench when o hare played - oh was that another Palmer?
I think you're underselling Allen's contribution this year, and how much Robins values him - he's not just a warm body, he's actually produced this season (and his resilience is an asset in itself, something Palmer has never had).Allen has played every game because he was bulletproof and was able to keep playing while O'Hare and Palmer were struggling for fitness.
I think he exceeded everyone's expectations this season, nobody expected him to get so many goals. Fair play to him.
But I'm absolutely adamant that if all three are fit the first choice pairing is O'Hare and Palmer. Allen would still get plenty of game time

Palmer is a player that fans will always enjoy watching given his style of play, but his legacy with us so far is closer to Waghorn-levels than O'Hare.
When your biggest signing of the season doesn't even start half your games, I struggle to see how it can ever be considered "an excellent signing".Can't believe some of the comments on here. Palmer has been an excellent signing. Last season Pearson didn't play him, it wasn't because of injury. Therefore it did take him a while to gain full fitness here, but even when he still wasn't 100% you could see the class and creativity he brought to the team. I think everyone was excited about the pairing of Palmer & O'Hare behind Vik, but it never really happened, but it will next year. Palmer's work rate has been excellent, and he clearly feels wanted here. I can think of numerous games where he has been excellent this season. Compared to other high earners that have come in such as Waghorn and Kane he's been streets ahead.
They're three very different players and it's about finding the right combination.
O’Hare is a freak in that he has Allen's running combined with Palmer's chance creation so he's obviously clear first choice.
With him out I can understand how Allen becomes first choice.
But with all three fit O'Hare and Palmer would make for the best combination.

He’s not been fit most of the season.
And who could’ve predicted that, not like he’s struggled for fitness his whole career or anything
Thats the market we were in.
He’s not been fit most of the season.
Hamstring tear? Get back on for 15 minutes
We seem to be having two conversations. “Is Palmer good” vs “Is Palmer fit”
When would you consider a perennially unfit player to be an excellent signing? We seem to be having two conversations. “Is Palmer good” vs “Is Palmer fit”
Bore off and write a Think Piece about Jamie Allen. He’s had about 4 good games all season - what a joke signing
Earth. Where's home for you, pal?On what planet is Palmer ahead of Allen

Nah. Just where people live who don't reside on the internet scoring points and licking Grendel's bum.Is that where Jodi Jones had his big season

It's not complicated though is it? The thread you quoted was looking ahead. I was wrong. I'll get over it, I reckon.Oh right what is it you’re messaging on now if you don’t reside on the internet?
Seems as though you have history of talking rubbish about football. We’ll leave it there
