Pask v Da Costa (2 Viewers)

I think it has to be dacosta. In a team without much attacking spark at the minute playing pask at rwb from the start seems counter intuitive. Dacosta is unorthodox but he’s much more effective going forward than pask. He was shaky defensively vs Wycombe but I thought he was quite good in games vs Watford Norwich and Forest.

Dacosta needs a run of games before we see the best of him.
Unfortunately our league position means we haven't got the luxury of waiting to see his best.
So Pask it is. imho

One plus for Pask is that he played a lot of his youth football as a forward so may have more of a goal threat

Not sure if it was a confidence thing after his recent injury, but couldn't quite believe how poor Dacosta was on Saturday.
Running aimlessly into players and then getting frustrated, aimlessly chipping it forward where no forwards were and even had a free cross that ended up over the other side of the box.
Looked a completely different player to the one in that second half at Nottingham Forest

That's exactly what it reminded me of!

Decosta 2 nd hlf v forest was one of the best 45mins by anybody this season and if we had godden fit that half I believe we would have one the game on that 2nd half performance. Since then nothing like that 45 minutes from anybody let alone decosta at any stage of the game apart from the Brentford game which was the clear exception to the rule.

Said da Costa was clown after his cameo at forest , absolute plank of a player no positional sense or awareness
