He was a guest at the last Diamond Club meal in June. On interview, he came across very well and did say that he had been interviewed for a position within the club. Was coy regarding the detail. Presumably this is the result.

I hope not, played against him in a 6 a side tournament about 15 years ago and he was a complete wash up. Hard to see he was even an ex footballer

Ha ha, nothing to do with Cov. My business has just started doing some work with Torquay United FC for this season and he's their new Football Advisor. I'd booked a team stay for their first away match and got a call yesterday asking for a room for him as he wasn't going to be on the original travelling party.
