Has anyone seen the JD for the new role

Was surprised to see this wording

"Utilise industry leading data insights, to be presented to the owner, Head of Recruitment, Head of Scouting & Performance Director."

Bit surprised there was no mention of the manager!
Robins will let the recruitment team positions or types of player he wants then they will report back with potential players. He wouldnt get involved in the process in between

Fun job for someone. No salary though so not sure what they’ll get.
Will probably be pittance. Clubs know that there are people desperate to ‘work in football’ who will basically do these jobs for free so they can get away with paying minimum wage. I’d be surprised if the salary for this is more than about 20-22k.

Why are you surprised?
The modern manager has minimal input into transfers
As Robins has stated clearly that signings made to through him. I think your wrong with the cliche about modern managers. Arteta, Pep and Klopp etc very much have the final say on signings.

Need to make it performance related. £500 for each point in the league, £2k per Cup win, and free rapeseed oil for life on achieving promotion.
And the keys to a Talbot Horizon. If we get promotion then we upgrade that to a Talbot Tagora.

He has the final call before it goes to DK but he has little input prior

I'd imagine that at our level, there will be payment for the salary. I've literally just had a 2hr meeting with the CEO of Sutton United who were relegated last season and he said at their level, they do rely on students etc for things like social media etc. They are a very family friendly club who rely on a lot of volunteers.

I'd be surprised if an established Championship club wasn't paying a half decent wage for this.

Is this seperate to the guy (who looks a bit like prince harry, sorry) who has the laptop up by the cameras and goes in at half time with it?

Assuming you mean Paul Travis. He left last season but was a Performance Analyst rather than Recruitment Analyst so different role.
I assume his responsibilities now fall to Claire-Marie Roberts
