Phase 2: Operation SISU Out (3 Viewers)

Sorry Ginetta I think you've got this wrong. The quickest way to get rid of SISU now we're back is to make the club as attractive as possible. My guess is get us back to the championship and sell to the highest bidder. The quickest way this is going to happen is make the playing budget as high as possible. The only way we can do this as fans is by turning up to home games and buying stuff from the shop.

In essence. Carrying out a continued NOPM campaign until SISU have gone will have the same effect as attending Suxfields. Prolong our pain.

That is bang on....attending Sixfields prolonged our stay there....but a boycott of the Ricoh now would be equally counter productive. Get behind the team, help build a fortress!

we should all simply enjoy what has come about, find a way to rejoice in the moment and push on from here. we have some young exciting talent, a manager with a building reputation and signs are it will be a good season all round. So get past all your differences, support them all you can and just hope SISU carry on doing the right thing they seem to have started...

Just don't let the club have ALL the revenues it generates....
Is that the new trust objective?

The logic in here is getting more bizarre by the day. Somehow going to see somewhere where there was a willed move fully understanding this would cause an inevitable loss, would force SISU to do as wanted... yet not going to see the club now, thus causing a loss when the club looks for break even somehow extends the stay of the owners.

It beggars belief that some people are happier being angry about something and in dispute, rather than just celebrating the fact we are back in Coventry and supporting the team.

You're obviously in the know. So spill the beans.

Obviously had an audience with Keys* at the Gillingham game.... Haskell is coming to buy everything and give the 'special' fans a stake in the club and a seat on the board.

* The same Keys who said he would never attend another game whilst SISU were in charge.... twat.

If it's anything to do with Hoffman or that clown Elliot, then they can piss off. Once Sisu have fucked off, we need a complete fresh start, with none of the old moronic faces.

If we go up this year, I will be close to forgiving SISU.

I agree that we should all go to as many games as we can. But fuck me forgive them for getting us out of Division 3? It was them that put us there and that is just part of the shit they have put us through. And they haven't finished with all the litigation and new ground bullshit yet. And we only have a two year contract at the Ricoh.

Not keen then?

We need to get SISU into a position to sell the club.
Lets get it as good as it can be first and hope they will do the decent thing.
Nobody wants them here but let's hope they continue to listen to the fans an then see where it takes us.
Fisher needs to go and the stadium idea needs to be dropped in favour of a long term, but favourable please ACL, lease agreement. Some movement on both sides towards football revenues into the club is a win win for all parties.
The FL need to change the rules on moving clubs out of their historic towns.
A good product will bring the customers but we all have a lot of choices now on a Saturday afternoon.

Both these guys are real CCFC fans and I have a lot of respect for their efforts.
Don't forget that both worked for SISU and were forced out due to there opposition of them.
I would say JE would do things different in retrospect but at the time to me and a lot of others it seemed to be the best thing to do when SISU took over.

Too be fair would have thought it would have been out by now, not new news anymore we have been talking about it for a couple of weeks now at the football yet seems people are a bit scared to post it for what ever reason?

Don't want to be the bearer of good news will leave it to someone else :p

.
So why mention it at all if you can't possibly say... RFC styley?

I was there Saturday, heard nothing. If we're going to find out anyway, you may as well post it.

If it's something people are all talking about, having it in text isn't going to change anything.

Of coarse they are that is why they are hated by some on here.
Funny but some seem to hate everything Coventry:thinking about:

So they made a bad judgement haven't we all sometime?

LAST can you just confirm it is definitely 100% good news and not twisted good news...I.e. You're a massive fan of Fisher and he's about to sign a 10 year contract at the club so its only good news for you....

Going from 90 minutes of personal experience with LAST I would guess, and it is just a wild guess, that good news for him is not good news for the higher ups.

Think sisu have got their answer 27000 down to 11000 in one hit and that's about as good as it will get, up to them now what they do stay or sell

Whilst it's great to be home, the question remains: do SISU/OTIUM have the appetite to invest what is required to benefit the long term future of the club? I remain unconvinced.

SISU will hang around like a bad smell until someone returns them their losses.

The return to the Ricoh significantly reduces the pressure being exerted on our owners.

This is not a glorious victory for the club - leaving never should have happened in the first place, we have our owners to thank. They remain in place and club remains constricted by their mismanagement and shady business practice.

I'm sorry to say this but, the only way to definitely see SISU out the door is to boycott home games and cut off their supply of revenue - at least while we were exiled there was more of a chance of SISU actually f*cking off.

Make no mistake about it, while it is viable for them to do so they will sit and wait. This is one thing Fisher wasn't lying about.

If 5,000-6,000 people had gone to Northampton we'd still be there.

For the good of your club: Boycott.

No way, I think they will go in good time and the better the team does the more saleable we become. I want them to buy half the Ricoh so they have something solid to sell. Taking the club to the brink of extinction to get SISU out is so short sighted and counter productive it's not true.

So how do you think that they would get a 50% share of the Ricoh? I suppose they could buy the Higgs share. Maybe even try something like a road map.

Back to reality. They are after the whole thing. The litigation is ongoing. They look as though they still want all or nothing. And the odds of them getting it look thin. Maybe they think they will get it with persistant losing legal battles. After all they do batter people in court. Personally I think two turkeys will make an eagle before they get their way.

Forget Sisu for a minute, what has Elliott done at all that makes him worthwhile? The club has been badly run for as long as I've been supporting them, time for a change.
