There's a video on Facebook. Absolutely embarrassing. Big group of his mates egging him on to do it. Middle aged blokes in stone Island jackets.

Once the fan returns to the standards, the mates kick off with the stewards for trying to get him.

They've egged their mates on this a banning order. Pathetic.

Presumably the video will be good evidence. It really isn't fair on the players.

Brainless, everyone on the pitch Cov or Preston will be identified, nicked then banned for life. from all football matches, let them explain that to their nippers when they want to go with to footie.
As for trouble the problem as I see it is being central and plenty of seats available Coventry is a popular away day with plenty of away knuckle draggers on show our herberts know it and there plenty of welcome parties are around.

Lifetime ban!?! Bit totalitarian. £2000 fine and a few years ban would seem more proportionate.

Why? They know it's wrong, they know it's illegal, they know what the repercussions are to the club they supposedly support & their fellow supporters & still choose to do it.

When the club is handed fines, allocations get reduced, ridiculous segregation is put in place & we end up with shitty 12:30pm kickoffs & the like ask yourself why.

Yeah it was weird that they were both part of the same group, who were filming each time.

Fella I knew from the Potteries drank too much one Vale game and ran onto the pitch - he did get a ban but only for for the remainder of that season and the one immediately following. He was being brainless but ultimately didn't mean much harm (nor did he do any) so it was generally felt that the authorities got the punishment about right in his case.

Ridiculous stuff... don't understand why they do it.

Yeah and in the vid, the stewards just slouch away when they see that half a dozen roasters are challenging them to nick their mate. Tools.

I do get that sometimes discretion is the better part of valour and nobody wants to see a repeat of the scenes from the Derby game about 10 years ago, but the vid was a bit "can't give a fuck" from the stews.

That idiot Leicester fan that punched a Forest player got a bit of youth detention and a ten year ban, so these lot might get a couple of years, years ago stadium bans meant nothing a friend of mine was banned and never missed a game but with the amount of cameras it might be a bit trickier.

A bit too reactionary for me. How many Leicester games have been moved to 1230 as a result of a fan assaulting a player at Forest?

We are on the same side in thinking the invaders are total idiots and there needs to be a strong response I.e. a few years ban and a heavy fine in the thousands of pounds but I do not think a moment of madness/bravado deserves a lifetime ban. Assaulting a player like we saw at Forest, you have a point, but having a jog on the pitch to me does not equal a lifetime ban.

Seems fair enough. Some on here want heavier sanctions than that for playing the fool with no malice.

What annoyed me most was I'm already pissed off enough at Dabo's moment of madness potentially costing us the game, I just want them to score their penalty so we can get on with the game. Not to have it drawn out with pricks looking for 10 seconds of fame

Numpties - what the hell are they thinking? That first lad ran into the middle, then did some sort of air kick demonstration???
Second lad threw a few decent body swerves........still a numpty
There was a third one who ran on when we scored so 3 Cov and 1 Preston.

I'd parked my car for a strategic gettaway, as I had to give my mate a lift home. My mate said 'let's watch this free kick. then we can go if you want'. so I said yeah, let's watch the equaliser and then we'll go. Mixture of ecstasy and laughing when it went in as I ran down the stairway (we were right behind where the players ran to celebrate) Missed 'twit number 3' but at least if his was done in exuberance, I can understand it a bit more than our other 2. Needs stamping out though.

Bunch of fucking idiots. Not even Cov fans - just idiots that are looking for likes on social media. Definitely wasted more time than was added on. Stadium bans won’t bother them either by the way, they aren’t regular attenders. Fines need to be much bigger - needs stamping out quickly as it’s getting worse.

So embarrassed by our own fans cheering idiots wasting our own time when we were about to go 1-0 down. Brainless.

Their players caused some of it with their fans after the goal.
And when Ched Evans argued about going off using the side of the pitch he was closest to and then strolling off, ref was pointing at his watch telling him he was adding it on.

Yes why do people cheer them? We have seen incidents elsewhere of players being attacked and it's an impossible job for the stewards to stop them. The last thing we need is for these idiots to feel they are some sort of heroes.

Stadium bans mean fuck all, same as banning orders apart from having to surrender your passport when England are playing away.

Calls for lifetime bans and prison sentences are hilarious - leave that for the real criminals, not a couple of drunk twats doing something a bit daft but ultimately harmless.
