People moaned there were no plans, moan when there is a start...
If you cannot confirm the site, how can you produce a design image? Does location impact on design?
We developed master plans for the stadium and associated facilities on three separate sites with careful consideration given to pitch orientation, fan approach and stadium operations. These three key factors require a very similar approach on the two sites which are currently being bid on, so the proposed stadium design concept will be fundamentally the same for both sites.

get help!think you've summed it up very well nick.
Having read all the 'posts' on this thread i feel depressed by the very negative responses, i'm sure negotiations to acquire the preferred site are at an advanced stage ( with a plan b also in place ).
No quick fixes here, regrettably these things take time, the problem today is our 'instant' society!
Help!
Controversially - I like the design! I think it's a lot better than the Ricoh - let the hate messages begin!
Sisu said they'll give it until Christmas and then begin plans - looks like that's one of the few things they haven't bullshitted about because here they are. I'll be more convinced when they release where it's going to be, but once they have I'll be ready to give them some credit. Despite all the spin, lies and nonsense, I do believe we as a club need to own our stadium to be sustainable - and this looks like a great asset for Sky Blues IF it ever happens.

I hate to admit it but I do sort of like the design, yes "it will never happen", or "it's just be fantasy", or "if Sisu ever build it, it will look like a shed" but even so it' alright and I have to say better looking than the Ricoh.
You honestly think that if it were built it would end up looking like that?
This is CCFC. Everything is always watered down, i.e. retractable roof, sliding pitch etc. etc.

The cost of the new stadium will be in excess of £20m. The actual time line of costs for the whole site simply depends on how we phase the stadium, academy and first team training facilities. - Tim FisherI've got to say, it is a nice picture.
I just want to know details: What will it look like when it's first built? What other facilities does it have? What does the inside/concourse look like?
And most importantly: How much will it cost?
It literally is just a picture. At least Arena 2000 had a CG walkthrough.

My house costs in excess of £5, it's just a hell of an excess.
The key to me personally supporting this plan is what financial state will the club be in afterwards. Surely they have some idea of that, otherwise how can they put together a business plan?
In addition can a stadium of 12,000 pay off that debt ?

Right. This is the house I want. I just need to find the money to build it.
And find some land to build it on.
Everyone excited for me?
I wouldn't mind that stadium to be honest if they actually built it.

Just a thought, lets assume for a minute this does get built. They want the money back as fast as possible so need to create a demand.
A genius at SISU designs and builds a stadium which with a bit of success on the pitch will not be big enough and so they have created the demand for tickets.
They can then charge more than the going rate which they could have charged otherwise(at the Ricoh) and with a packed house every week the atmosphere would be better and also own the stadium. Don't forget the lack of atmosphere has been a major issue at the Ricoh in a lot of peoples eyes ever since we moved there.
Like i said just a thought....

I think it has a predominantly down-turned mouth appearance to it.
Yep, most probably, but that's the still the case renting at the Ricoh with no access to revenue streams.

Fisher goes on to say...
The financing will be a mix of equity and debt. As a ground share requirement for the Football League we have had to show how the new stadium might be financed and included the accompanying proof of funding.

So you're buying into this then ? Else why would you keep posting Fisher's comments like are they actually have meaning and are not just soundbites for some suckers to believe.
