I find some of the actual football opinions on here quite bizarre.. so many simply never played the game beyond the dog and trumpetHe’s developed this persona of a contrarian, even on stuff that he’s completely wrong about. It’s extremely odd.

It was hard to argue when he mentioned Como and him, Rudoni and someone else living in an apartment block when they first arrived at the club.

in this scenario he made a totally out of the box substitution, probably based on something he noticed during the game he could exploit and it paid off.

Rudoni has to do defensive work whatever position he's playing , asking somebody who had played on the wing before to work back deeper is fine and jack should be fine with it .. really he wasDisingenuous. Nobody is saying it’s for no reason. It just comes across a bit ill thought out if it hadn’t been discussed/trained previously. Yes, sometimes you need to play a player out of position but in the wider context it does feel a bit desperate.
FP is right to point out it’s based on someone else’s emphasis though and as I said it’s just speculation but everyone is now entrenching in their previous positions.
